Reasons for using this video?
You could use this to check blacklight bleeding.
You could use this as a mirror.
You could use this to trick your parents that the computer is off when it isn't so you can play minecraft/fortnite after midnight without having to enter the password (that u probably don't know) on your parents computer xDDDDDDDDD
You could use this to check dead pixels.
You could use this as a timer.
You could use this to clean your screen without having to turn off the computer.
You could use this video when you’re watching a relaxing video (for example rain and thunder sound videos, relaxing lo fi beats or binaural beats.

the best thing you can do with this video: when you have a video presentation you didnt do for school, record this for a bit, and submit it, after that submission, teachers take around 2-3 weeks to grade presentations, in that amount of time, you can create a presentation, because the teacher notifies you that its just a black screen, say it must have corrupted, and send the ......

This is helping me study without any distractions.
i've only just stared the film and i'm already enthralled. its somehow both simple enough for me to be able to properly absorb at 3:30 am, yet somehow also complicated enough to keep me thinking about it days on end. the characters a beautifully written, and complex. they are perfectly morally grey, and feel like real people that you grow to love. the attention to detail on both the writer and filmmakers part are absolutely spectacular. i was skeptical at first because of its lack of a sound track, but after even seeing this much i can't imagine it with one. truly, this is a masterpiece among everything out here in this digitized age. i've laughed, cried, and felt real connections to the people on screen; i am in love with every second of this film, and i mean it when i say it is absolutely divine in every sense of the word.

this is good for finding out how long your songs are. i start singing/playing the song right once i press play on the video and once im done with the song ill pause the video right when i end the song and then i check out the time stamp. thanks for posting this!!

I use it for displaying subtitles over movies that don't have them.
1. Download this video in .mp4 format for use with VLC (it's longer than just about any movie).
2. Google subtitles for the movie you want to watch.
3. Download the subtitles and put them in the same folder as the .mp4
4. Play the .mp4 video and add the subtitle track.
5. Crop the video down to just where the subtitles are.
6. Use minimal mode to remove interface, then hide the window frame.
7. Set the VLC window to be always on top.
8. Position it on top of the bottom horizontal black bar at the bottom of the movie.
9. Synchronise the movie and the .mp4 times with a bit of fiddling.
10. Voila. You have clear and configurable subtitles for any film you view anywhere.

So glad there is a 3 hour version. The 2 hour is too short, and the 10 hour is too long.
I'm actually being serious: i qued up a show to wake me up after this in 2 ½ hours. The 2 hour black screen wouldn't work, and the 10 hour black screen is too difficult to adjust the time remaining accurately enough.
