I liked how Tango had that smugness of, Mrs T's got my back, she kind of sounded like she was going to back Tango, until she betrayed him. When I watching this live, I knew if she came back she was going to give Scar a shard, though I was fooled for a moment, thinking she'd actually back up Tango for once. All in all, very funny.

It blows my mind how much of an entertainer Scar really is. Don't get me wrong all the Hermits are amazing but as far as Scar goes in any series the dude is massively on point with all sorts of schtick, plotlines, and paired with his voice it's just some of the most entertaining wholesome content available.
Scar and Bdubs are on another level when it comes to performance and theatrics. I hope they get to host a late night comedy show or something in the future.
really depends on what kind of content you find entertaining, for example gem does these sitback relax and build video's, cleo does longer video's with intense music, pearl silly funny video's etc, really depends on what you like.
I like how Gem and Scar title videos with "The movie" in them when its an episode over 1 hour but that's like every Doc's episode

As someone that was in Tango’s chat on opening day, watching Scar futz around with that compass spot … there was a lot of exasperation/amusement/“is he trolling?!” going on in there, yeah xD
I saw his VOD. Watching Scar throw the compass on _every single block EXCEPT the one he needed_ was driving Tango crazy.
Decked Out 2 is literally the most impressive thing that l've ever seen done in survival. I'm not even exaggerating, it's insane!

I noticed a parallel between this and a board game I play. Is this based on the board game CLANK: a deck building adventure? Anyways this is absolutely fantastic.
@@skee_ski_113 It is, indeed. Tango is a huge fan of the board game version and it inspired him to create Decked Out 2.
It's the only thing that could be more impressive than decked out 1
I love how even with the voice changer, Scar still sounds unmistakably like Scar
Might change his pitch, but not much his tone.
Scar's spontaneous, genuine, child-like delight of "Dude! The doors open!" was the perfect start to the DO2 launch. Tango has lovingly crafted an experience and Scar wholeheartedly showed up for it. All of us on Tango's stream breathed a collective sigh of relief at that moment and thought, "Yeah, Decked Out 2 is going to get the appreciation it deserves and bring the joy it was designed to share." Also, intro....uh-may-zing.
Our derpy Scar is surprisingly good at Decked Out 2. He got back with an artifact on his 2nd run, and on his first level 2 run, he was able to turn in his artifact. He was in the top 3 frost ember earners, and handed in the most tomes. He could end up in the top 8 or maybe top 5 at the end of the game.
He is really efficient and fast. He gets in, gets the artifact, looks around for treasure and gets out. Perhaps not as high on the exploration or knows all the mechanics but he can use other hermits videos to learn about the dungeon.
And he was quite unlucky with his artifacts, he went deep in level 1 and never got a high value artifact.

The correct block is the one on which the compass flips direction while walking over it. Many of the hermits just throw the compass in the direction it's pointing. I guess the stress just makes it difficult to do right.

I’m not kidding, that intro actually made me tear up because it was such a lovely promotion of Tango’s game he’s worked so hard on and it really amped up just how fantastically epic it is. Awww Scar that was so nice of you to put that awesome trailer together!

Never would anyone have predicted that Scar would win, let alone one game of Decked Out, but won against the other hermits in the FIRST WEEK when every other hermit would give sacrifices to the Decked Out gods to play more
I kinda expected him to win week 1, but that's because he went for the victory tomes very early. Like day 1, while Tango was streaming, early. Everyone else who got out were trying to improve their decks, and Scar's just like "I want to win"
A Pyrrhic victory. He sabotaged his coming weeks for an early bragging rights (which is fair!). But don't expect him to keep up in the long run, his deck is already lacking compared to others top players.

@@FighteroftheNightman by week 3 hypno might be running level 3 artifacts consistently, and etho might be farming unlmited frozen shards
I think Scar is aware that there are way better players than him, so he went for the trophy in the week that would be easiest, when all are still at a level playing field.

Also, you should totally get an Indiana Scar skin or a dungeon-crawling Scar skin! Would fit the vibe very nicely :)

Hypno earned the most, but Tango rewarded phase 2 shards based off how many embers each player earned in phase 1. Those ranged from 8-14 depending on the hermit. Since Scar only earned 9 shards he must have done better on average!@@mollusc3125
Seeing Scar toss his compass for 5 minutes, knowing how to follow them myself, and seeing him look at the right block about ten times to then turn around only to throw it on a random spot, over and over again... is just so freaking painful!
Tango's voice expresses my feeling very well
scar is surprisingly good at evading ravagers so if he can get better at parkour he has a chance to win every phase at this point
I loved the intro. ** You seem to have done 14 runs.** Your first artifact #2 was Jevin's slime 13:27 the next was Tumb of the hills 19:40 . The run counter said both were run 2.

This video is solid gold! Run 7 was incredible, dodging ravagers, using the ravager attack to escape the river of souls, then finally dying to a magma block in the water trap, just epic tragedy.
Also, calling "the manager" was hilarious!
I wonder when he will learn the RIGHT side of that water trap on the way to the exit is safe...

Scar is great at seemingly randomly throwing around his compass, making scared and incoherent noises and somehow still managing to get his artefact and than stumbling very clumsily back towards the exit, somehow managing to stay alive, resulting in him completely owning this dungeon! What a legend!

As I was walking trough main street whilst leaving I was hit with this feeling that I recognized the place from somewhere. Then it hit me that I "recognized" it from your videos. Not only is one's own first turn the hardest, since you're not used to the gameplay. But you where the VERY FIRST hermit in _AND_ you got it!

Honestly Scar's strat of buffing up with two cards and a tome before moving up levels is really smart. It reduces the likelihood of losing on a higher level just because of something like running out of time!
Thank you for the compilation video of all your runs Scar. Just know I'll watch these in addition to any runs you put in episodes just because I can not get enough Decked Out 2 content. The work Tango has put in to this game really paid off big. I love seeing all the hermits enjoying it
