Tanner is an amazing engineer! I admire his style of design where things are explicit, non-magical, and easy to use at the same time! I so hate these stringly-based APIs that everyone else pushes. It gets to the point where I believe that Next.js has hundreds of engineers that understand how to use TypeScript less than the random developer out there.
I feel this is the most interesting thing I have seen recently. When we are seeing a drastic change in paradigm shift in web development world with a lot of "NextJS & Remix" stuff, this is something I have always been thinking and confused about... How Tanner explained his views around the importance of the "client first" approach in contrast to the "server first" approach depending on the nature of the app you are working! Thanks a lot @Kulkarniankita for bringing this great interview.
Tanner is a ducking legend! I've been following his work and opinions - which he does publicly at Twitter - since ~2017 I think. He made me believe "components".
@Kulkarniankita their vision for the vinixi ecosystem, web dev, and if they are going to work together in the future. I heard rumors that tanstack router is going to be made compatible with solidstart. I think just having these two talk to each other will make for an interesting conversation.
Thanks everyone for watching this video! Who else should we bring next on the channel?
Creators of Deno and Hono 😂
@@rahulbhooteshwar haha will try!
I love the work that Tanner has done for the ecosystem
