Caltrain and Dirt Power at Menlo Park

  • 1. Southbound Caltrain 424 with JPBX 910 and a gallery set.
    2. Northbound Caltrain 425 with JPBX 926 and a Bombardier set (including four ex-Metrolink cars).
    3. Northbound Caltrain 427 with JPBX 916 and a gallery set (including a Tech CU wrap on the cab car).
    4. Northbound light power -- UP 5790 and UP 2619 -- headed up to South San Francisco to pick up a dirt train.
    Recorded at the Menlo Park Caltrain Station in Menlo Park, California on July 15, 2017.

    Awesome Video!! I remember waiting 3 Hours for that same Dirty Dirt Train to go back south. It was a Very Very Hot Day.

      Thanks! I ended up going over to the East Bay to Mowry, but the dirt train didn't go through there until after dark.

      If I recall correctly, they had various problems at South City and at San Jose.

      Thanks! No, it's not always that way (I've occasionally seen MP36s with gallery sets), but usually it is.
