    Hi, your video was very interesting! I'm a baby doctor who would love to work in a cruise ship. I know most companies require at least 3 years of experience and a skill set I don't have, but I still would love being part of the medical team in a cruise ship, could I apply as a nurse with my credentials? Thanks!

    Hello I am medical practicioner from Serbia. So I have only one question, can I go on Cruise shop with only one year if experiance in this job.

    • @nurseci
      @nurseci  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Probably not, try and get an ICU or an a&E jobs first and once your get experience apply.

    I would absolutely love to do this! I have 7 years experience of nursing working in a variety of hospital settings, however, I don't have ITU or A&E experience unfortunately. Is it a necessity? I have worked for many years in wards providing acute care both surgical and medical.

    • @nurseci
      @nurseci  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Have a look at each individual company and see if any accept without that specific experience. Otherwise I would advice to get some experience first in A&E and Critical care.

    how much in common is the cruise ship paramedic job to the rn?

    • @nurseci
      @nurseci  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends of the skillset in different countries, but from my experience in the UK, some paramedics could work in a cruise shift. I think the problem is most paramedics can't give medication, monitor patients in hospitals, and are not trained in ICU care.
