to be fair, not wrong. Reruns are a scam. Hoyoverse only ever rerun characters if you need a support to pair with the new character, or to trick players into pulling players into pulling on characters that are powercrept, or are about to be powercrept.
My rule is that if a character avoided me the first time around and my account was able to survive without them Im not getting them on re run

i think you should think deeper on your idea which isn't bad, namely the supports, even if you survived without them, if you have played other gacha games before you would know how important supports are, especially now that double support teams seem to be becoming more meta, we might be starved on supports later

Its just getting bad when you want both available characters. Always feeling so stressed, when two characters at a time are available, that I want 😭
Way too many people rely on creators for advice on pulling (despite all of them saying pull what you want) when they should just measure the context. Battle Tower and Deadly Assault are the hardest things but the rewards from both are skippable or at least half-assable and you still get the poly you need from story/events/side content (all easy) to keep pulling. This is not that deep a game to think this hard about comps unless you are trying to full clear BT and DA every time and even so, building 3 strong teams is good enough and there's already more than enough characters available to casual FTP players to do that.
This creator echo chamber about viability, power creep, etc. is toxic to 90% of players who are mostly casual and have no need to think or worry about this stuff considering how 95% of the game's content is being beaten easily without any of it.
I agree with the video completely, it's just that the min/maxing with who and when to pull is just a bit overdramatized for this game's current ceiling and playerbase
Do Gacha games even have a meta culture? I thought it was just about getting cool characters or waifus/husbandos

@@leithaziz2716 Mostly in Hoyoverse games but also certain other Gacha games and I heavily use quotation marks here "incentivize" the optimization of characters (Don't play star rail but apparently it is one those types of games) The thing is with ZZZ is that a lot of the combat can be brute forced by making good use of the free a-ranks already in the game by just not being terrible at dodging and switching. In Star rail it is a turn based game so the stats matter more. I feel ZZZ is leaning more onto the casual side with a bit of end-game difficult content because they aren't trying to alienate casual players, which I feel is something that a lot of the community forgets. The whales aren't the ones bankrolling hoyoverse, it is the low spenders as there are a whole lot more of them.
@@leithaziz2716Genshin definitely has a meta culture, there’s a lot of discussion of meta rankings, best dps and support characters/teams, “must pulls”, etc. But simultaneously it’s pretty universally acknowledged that almost all characters are viable for end game content if built correctly/ on good teams. Which is pretty much how things have been with ZZZ as well, at least so far.
@@leithaziz2716 pretty much every gacha has metas and tierlist and all that stuff. a majority of the youtube content for gacha games is creators talking about who to pull or explaining their tierlist, oh and new character guides.

Same. I tried to pull for him but lost the 50/50 and couldn't afford to spend more on him. Miyabi was right after him and it would have been insane to skip out on her.

I haven't for a second regretted skipping Chingyi, and I'm looking forward to doing it again to secure Trigger.
7:08 One thing to mention that I think you may have forgot, or just left out because it wasn’t relevant, is that although it takes more materials to build characters, the materials that we need to build characters are all the same. What I mean by this is that in Star Rail and Genshin, every time a new patch comes out, there are new domains that hold new materials, that pertains to new character’s ascension materials or skill materials. In Zenless however (this may change in the future idk) all the materials have stayed the same, and no new materials have been added, except for the core enhancement materials. This makes it so that whenever you’re NOT building a certain type of character, let’s say for example, an attack Ice character, you are passively getting materials for that character over however many patches through things like events, daily store management, the convenience store, or wherever else. I for one, have not build an ice unit since Ellen, and so, had SO many ascension and skill level up materials for when Miyabi came out, to the point that I needed to only really focus on her relic set. Not to mention, and this is just a quality of life thing, they’re all in the same place. Teleporting all around to get different materials in Star Rail and Genshin has always been a task, so I appreciate ZZZ doing that for not only the materials, but for the disk drives/relics as well. One thing I WILL say, is the Dennies are a big problem. It’s also a problem with the level up materials and W-engine level up materials, and while not as much of a problem as the Dennie, still a problem. With that being said, my previous point still stands, but this is a problem to keep in mind.
I dunno, the denny gate stopped being a problem a while ago for me, granted I only ever need to build 1, maybe 2 characters per patch now, if I'm not skipping. It's a real problem if you have to build an entire team from scratch or if you're a new player, for sure. They give us more than enough time to prefarm for any given character, most people just max the new character on day 1 now and, unless you're raising the entire roster for whatever reason, you get more than enough dennies to max them day 1 too with a bunch to spare
Nah, its actually pretty reasonable as far as gacha games go. Specially Hoyo games. It also doesnt help that youre constantly bogged down by event after event in these games instead of like one big event that you can just grind out for say 100 lv3 Exps instead of having to do like 5 different events with 20 each or the exp farm at rhe HIA for 5-10 per run
It also helps we players get 1 free double caffiene every day
I was so hype for Section 6 that I skipped every character until Yanagi and Miyabi showed up and I haven’t regretted it :3

I just want to say thanks for making this video. After watching, I agree completely that my sentiment was there, but I didn't explain this as well enough as I could've. definitely something I'm going to work on from here on out.
Also, I 100% agree that pulling on all these Agents is highly greedy, and players should be planning their pulls smarter as far as what they need. If you have Qingyi, then you have no business going for someone like Trigger. Grabbing Qingyi's engine would be far more valuable instead. Again, I should've said that, but i was too tunnel visioned on Miyabi next to Ellen and Qingyi next to Trigger. much love 🧡
Every player should have a list of their favorite characters. Prioritize the characters you like most and when you've checked the first couple off the list look into units you like that work well with what you have
i honestly wanna pull for m1 caesar. she is so comfy with her shield and interrupt resist, her m1 giving ress shred and more ways to get a shield sounds good for future proofing, even if a defense unit release in the future that is better.

I call BS on that one. If you pulled Ellen for the meta and not as a waifu pull then you know she's still good at her niche. And this is coming from someone who doesn't own or want Ellen. She just gets outshined by Miyabi who was designed to be an overpowered character.
That said, anyone willing to wait for Hugo will be rewarded for their patience.
Shes still good have her M0 at but not her W engine, been using Cedar Bloom for her n shes been clearing Shiyu Defense stages quite well with Lycon and Sokaku
Im sorry, but I play this game purely for the action part of its gameplay. I enjoy my DMCs, Bayonettas, fighting games, thats just the type of gamer I am. Even if Qingyi would be good for my team, if I don't like how the character feels when I pilot them, I won't pull for her. I really enjoy her as a character for her personality and how she interacts with the story. But I don't find her fun enough to spend my pulls

@@tkajr7 You get to play as most characters during the main story. Zhu Yuan and Qinqyi are playable in Chapter 2 Prelude.
completely agree 100% I get the sentiment on flossin's vid but yh, re-runs isn't as bad ppl might think it be. I always say if u can clear and collect all endgame rewards so far with your current roster then you're gucci.
Yeah, and tbh even if you can't always clear everything... sometimes it's the friends we've made (the cool characters we've pulled) along the way that make the game fun enough. 😂
I started on the second half of 1.1 so i missed Quingyi. Early on i decided that i would get her on a re-run and no one has been or will be able to convince me to do otherwise.

There is one single reason why I don't pull Astra: I don't vibe with her. I don't really like her character that much or her playstyle. I get that people love her and i get how, I am just not them, so I wont pull
I convinced myself I needed her since she is a cracked support. I regretted it nearly right away.

By design support should never take too much on field time and thats always been my gripe with lucy and early game nicole
Astra is a huge comfort pull for me and I love her magical disk/staff lol
that just means you now have more pulls for a character you want
@@bubblesparks it's not the part that she isn't used much, though i prefer when I actually use them, but the way she is used when she is on field.
As for what I like from supports, I love Rina and Nicole (Nicole especially as she gets better with a good Rotation). Both have a quick swap rotation playstyle and I really like that.
@SlimeyZockt I honestly thought just like you. Astra just isn't my cup of tea at face value, but she makes playing my favorite agents more fun and the experience so much more smooth.
From my own experience, Astra just feels like the best support. She is literally like having a buffer outside of Hollow Zero and Lost Void - and that is the best way to describe her.

Thank you for clearing my head lol. The only S ranks I have are Caesar, Miyabi, Neko, Koleda, Harumasa, Lycaon, and Soldier. I’ve officially decided to skip Astra (and I was close to pulling her last night just due to hearing everyone call her a must pull 😌).
I’m no sure who’s better for me between Evelyn and Qingyi, but Harumasa/Qingyi/Miyabi does sound flames so perhaps…

I do find myself in the spot you described where I skipped qingyi for other characters I wanted and now I need her for my comps, but I straight up DO NOT have a Fire core because I flopped on the Burnice banner, and I like Evelyn a lot already so I will be going for her first
Tbh I don’t really like qingyi’s playstyle so I don’t really want her, i tried to make a harumasa team but his team straight up just doesn’t work because I don’t like how he plays, that’s why I calculated what characters i want and are good, so I decided on getting yanagi’s rerun so i can complete my Miyabi team, and then get trigger and SS anby (i meantioned why i don’t want qingyi, that’s why i am pulling trigger), i saved as much as i could till now and also i have Evelyn’s banner area to save more, also fyi i am a new player, Miyabi was my first limited, lost my 50/50 on her, then got her and her wengine.
I actually started ZZZ for Qingyi. I liked her design so I pulled, while everyone was visiting the bakery known as Zhu Yuan. Now I'm missing Soldier 11 and Zhu yuan.
I used my 300 on Rina, only to lose 50/50 on Rina (Burnice banner) and Koleda (Qingyi banner).
At 7:43, it may be more expensive to build your characters compared to Genshin. But, it’s 20 times more easy since you get get all your materials any day and there is no cap
As I f2p I started playing zzz around a week before Miyabis banner ended so as it currently stands I have Rina, M1 Soldier 11 and Koleda as my standards and both Miyabi and Astra Yao. I have not invested in Soldier 11 because I don’t like using her. My rule is if a character is fun I’ll pull but I will make sacrifices at times since I can’t pull every character I find fun. I’m personally going to pull for Evelyn because I want to build a fire team and she is really fun. Plus my Fire Agents are better built than my Electric Agents.
Qingyi is absolutely great and the only character I missed I really want to get, BUT Evelyn is also right there AND Ellen who I was strongly considering getting M1 for. Not to mention Anby and Trigger down the line. The problem isn't meta or powercreep, it's that very few characters feel skippable because they all LOOK cool and often PLAY in distinctly cool ways too, lol.

Im probably only gonna do reruns for characters i dont have. I know it sounds stupid to do but atm, the three i need are Jane, burnice, and lighter. Im doing fine team wise hut these three really opens the possibilities for team comps and i really need better ones for fire and physical 😅
I think I'm kinda grateful I'm in a position to comfortably cruise with the game just pulling whoever I want. Unless newer content gets so hard it becomes unclearable with old units. So right now, my pull plans is Eve, then either Qingyi or Trigger, then maybe Hugo and/or Vivian.

Miyabi, qingyi, harumasa is brilliant tbh.. but with trigger coming soon can't wait for your thoughts on if qingyi could be replaced in this team (tbh i dont like qingyi gameplay but miyabi, harumasa combo looks insane so)
The mix of likeable character and meta character is a big factor when it comes to pulling for me. When those factors align, they're a must summon for me. If they drop someone whos insanely broken but I really don't like the design of (ex: Trigger?), I'm probably skipping. When they align though (Evelyn, Astra), it's no question that I will be pulling.
Quinnyi is good if you need a universal stunner but i feel like trigger is going to be a more niche stunner that is going to benefits character a lot more

I’m gonna pull waifu no matter what. Jane Doe rerun I’m pulling. Yanagi rerun I’m pulling. They are peak waifus for me…I don’t care if they are powercreeped by that point. Right now they are still good.
I will say I am considering getting Qingyi now though. If I win my Evelyn 5050 I’ll pull for Qingyi. I got Miyabi for meta and Qingyi may be the same. I don’t like Miyabis design very much, but she is OP and works great with another anomaly character and Astra.
Next month is going to be a debate between Qingyi and Trigger, Trigger will be Best in Slot for SSAnby and Qingyi is the BIS for Zhu Yuan. But for Harumasa and "in general"? It's gonna be interesting

For me ive lost every character banner 50/50 so its been hard to get all the characters id love for my account like Qingyi, Jane, etc. however because i future invested with my characters and characters i pulled on like Caesar ive been getting by really well. I would like to get some of them but i usually like to prioritize characters i want and what new experiences i can get since most of the time my account gets by super well. Caesar and getting some of those 50/50 loses to Rina and up to m2 with some standard pull luck had me set for awhile.

Hey Iyo, idk if u answer questions here, but I figured I’d ask anyways.
I want to know what I should pull in the future. Rn I have three main teams, Zhu Yuan, Ellen, and Soldier 11. I’m considering pulling Astra as another support I can lean on to build another team, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary. Alternatively, I have Qingyi and Zhu Yuan but I don’t have either sig w-engine. If they rerun(potentially in the near future), I’m considering pulling for their w-engines, or going for their mindscapes. I only have 80 pulls, which means I’ll probably only be able to pull for one of these. What should I pull: Astra, Qingyi and Zhu Yuan W-engines, or their mindscapes?

I was warned about the power creep in Mihoyo's games on reddit, yet I still got a M1W1 Ellen from day one, because Ellen's attributes look very appealing on papers. But now I can't even score more than 18000 in the 1.5 Deadly Assault boss NO.1 even with all the limited support characters there are (Astra, Caesar, Qingyi, etc.), so i have to build Harumasa instead to get all 9 starts (for boos NO.2). What a sarcastic situation.

@@IyoXS I've already tried Ceasar+Sokaku+Ellen, Ceasar+Lycan+Ellen, Astra+Lycan+Ellen, even Ceasar+Astra+Ellen (I know I was missing Ellen's core skill on this one, I was desperate, but it actually did quite good). These are the teams I still remember that I tried before, but none of them could give me a 3 star. I've seen people using the same team with less configuration could do the job (just barely), so it's kind of a skill issue, but I do believe the content is indeed getting harder for Ellen. When I was playing her, the average scores that I got is around 15k, mean while the Miyabi and Jane team with less ideal teammates could easily get 20k-25k in one shot. To make it worse, my Jane is only M0, yet she drastically outperforms the M1 Ellen. 😫
Trigger is 1.6 and she’s an electric stunner so yea we are skipping qingyi again u cant fool us

luckily i have qingyi, qingyi was the luckiest ive ever been pulling a character, used only like 10-15 pulls off of singles on both her and her weapon and got both with no pity. i dont care how good or bad evelyn is but im hella excited and cant wait for her, glad i can focus on just her the next banner. still gotta win my 50/50 for evelyn, so pray for me guys 😭
Was tempted to pull for Evelyn and Qingyi, but now I'm tempted to just pull for Ellen's w-engine and pair her with Lighter & Astra like you have on your team. I assume they're good together, but thoughts? C: Love the videos, btw!
I find it funny that supposedly Miyabi at M0 out damage Ellen at M6. That's probably the main issue players have when powercreep is talked about. Of course, if you CAN still clear content with the agents, powercreep isn't that big of an issue. It's just an issue of if and when they start balancing content purely around the current highest tier DPS who are a few leaps and bounds ahead of previous DPS. Of course, since ZZZ is a skill based game, that time will be a bit away, presumably.
Pushing a bit back against the Qingyi glaze, she is entirely skippable. Sure, you get big, bonker stuns, but supports provide boosts outside of stun, and you can use 2 to focus in on a single DPS, so why deal really high damage for a short duration when you just do pretty good damage throughout the entire fight? Even if Qingyi is optimal for some agents, the alterative is more than viable for all content.
Still, that comes at the cost of 2 supports, all of whom are quite good in ZZZ, who aren't usable in another team, who might like them. Therefor, it's obvious supportive agents like Astra or Qingyi are the most "valuable" for most players since they enable damage dealers to excel, especially ones they're fond of, but that's all dependent on their accounts and their wants.
Despite that, totally skipping Qingyi again. Don't need her in anyway. Didn't need her because Koleda was good enough, don't need her now because Astra-Nicole is more than good enough. Plus, I've played gachas for a long time now. I know I can't get everyone as a F2P, so plenty of agents go to the wayside while I save up for agents I would care about a lot more.

It just really depends on your acc, as an f2p if u mostly pulled for anomaly agents, ie Jane,burnice, yanagi etc I'd hardly see the reason why u would pull her.
But yh again if u don't like an agent then don't pull its that simple.
Got M2 Ellen and tried for Astra but lost the 50/50. So I'm saving that guaranteed for Qingyi, since she is gonna be a bigger boost for my account anyways. Would like to pull for Evelyn but that depends on if Qingyi makes be go down to the damn pitty or not!

I skipped Qingyi back then because I didn't have enough rolls to even hit Soft pity. Since then, I've managed to build several teams.
And I initially intended to roll for Evelyn. Unfortunately, I only have the one OG Stunner, Stun-by.
All this to say that I'll have to skip Eve and aim for her re-run, because I'm saving pulls for the next banner. Definitely Trigger. And I might roll on SSAnby's banner, too, if that means getting a C3/C4 Pulchra. Because I would *really* appreciate another A-rank Stun for my comps T_T

I'd say go for qingyi if u don't have her yet, u can always get trigger on a re-run but still the decision is yours

Qingyi is universally better, Trigger is more restrictive but is still good. That said, grab who you like more. There's many ways to play them anyway.

I just have to ask if for the miyabi harumasa team, do you think trigger could fit better than qingyi into the team considering she’s probably going to be an off field unit so she wont be fighting with the two other on field characters on the team? Or even would astra fit better?
Seems like characters in zzz get powercrept by the time they got a rerun, so I wouldn't worry about them
quingyi is really good but bcs trigger is coming i think thats just the better choice tbh
I only would pull for Void Hunters AND support/buffers with game-elevating mechanics, on relase or reruns.
I got Miyabi on M5 in a fairly new account with free pulls alone. Safe to say I spent $85 to push her to M6. Since I want to save for a void hunter and I'm not a whale, pulling a good support given my lack of skill with general characters and only playing on mobile, would cover some of my weaknesses clearing monthly farmable end contents every reset easily. Given that you typically don't need copies of limited supports/buffers to make them work, it would be a good investment for future Void Hunters I intend to save up for, possibly having enough pulls and luck to M6 them, AND you also don't end up having a lot of benched characters you pulled prior just because another one with powercreeping abilities end up being released.
M6 AND with a Void Hunter? Less likely to be powercrept and even if they do, well, a Void Hunter still IS a Void Hunter and it wouldn't be a waste collecting them. That's just me tho. To each their own.
I originally thought thid with Ellen but now I dee Qinyi and then Trigger next patch it can go both ways. I'll just plan my pulls adequately and consider my current needs since I currently have a solid roster. I'm not interested in mindscapes unlesd I get blessed by the hoyogods or the rerun is enticing enough.
I skipped Ellen, Qingyi, Ceasar and Lighter and my account can still clear Shiyu with S and Deadly Assault 9 star.
I only pulled for who I like and I'm doing fine. I will keep doing that and will wait for Evelyn and Trigger 😎

I wanted to get your opinion on how viable evelyn, burnice, astra would be? I haven't seen much of evelyn's gameplay cause i havent finished this updates story but i really wanna keep the couple together
Man people just keep downplaying and ignoring Qingyi. Super fast stun with ult and enhanced charged attacks + insane stun damage multipliers that no other agent in the game even comes close to
@@notarobber5387 I would argue lighter is better, but with the obvious asterisk only for fire and ice teams. I will be getting qingyi regardless since I lost out on her originally.
@ Even in those teams the damage difference and clear time between Lighter and Qingyi is not that big of a difference, but yeah Lighter fits those teams better. What I was mainly talking about was the stun window damage boost which is insane on any burst dps. Both are great tho

@@GamerGray13 Didn't mean specifically here but I've seen lots of people saying she's just a slightly better Anby and that she's skippable meta wise. Or saying unreleased Trigger power creeps her

Hey Iyo maybe you can give me some advice. I started in 1.4. I have Miyabi and her Weapon, I have Harumasa and his weapon (so I am not looking into the new Anby) and I have Astra. I have fully cleared the last 2 Shiyu defences, but I need to build out my account. For my Miyabi I have planned to get Yanagi (bc she hot, too). So now I am contemplating to either bite the dust a bit and spend Resources on my Soldier 11 and maybe pick up Qingyi (bc she can also go into electro team) or I pick up Evelyn bc she is just really fun. The thing is I also really enjoy the Anomaly play style and can't really see how a team like Jane, Burnice, Caesar can be hardcore powercrept just because of how crazy strong disorders are. So rn I am just really clueless on how to progress, especially bc I could already clear Shiyu, where I used Harumasa, Anby, Astra for the Fire/Phys sides and Miyabi, Seth, Rina for the others.
ngl im gonna have to pull for qingyi (i already pulled for astra and ellen). im skipping sanby and trigger tho for smt like lighter rerun or jane rerun

I have Ellen but no Sig, and I don't have Qingyi. Im a Anomaly main, so for me I'm either A. Go for Ellen Sig B. Go for QingYi ( to make more Team comps like the Miyabi/ Abasba /Qingyi) or C. Wait for Yangi or Burnice or Trigger. I have option to look at BUT , it the fear of not getting a chance to pick another option later down the line.

What about trigger coming up, shes an electric stunner thats an off field with her additional attacks, ahould i use my guarantee on qingyi or safe it for her? And koleda was my second standard character and s11 was my first.

If you wanna maximize and be smart with your F2P pulls, just get the newest characters. Qingyi is phenomenal, but if you didn't struggle without her until now, you won't struggle without her, ever. Qingyi is a must have only if you have Zhu Yuan, and you REALLY, REALLY want to play her, and had to skip Qingyi the first time around, because ZY is dogwater without her. Alternatively just pull anomalies and supports and never worry about having to pull an attacker+their BiS stunner ever again
Sadly i wont be pulling for Qinyi reason being I mostly will try to get Evelyn for hwr Hangeout events but my main targets will be Zhu Yuan W engine n another copy of her

But the way I feel out my roster is I want a main DPS for every element. I dont have a fire dps but I could use my selector for Soldier 11. I also thinking of Anby but I could just deal with Harumasa playstyle. Idk yet 😅
17:00 see this is the issue im having here. I didn't care too much for Haru so I haven't built him , nor did i pull for yanagi. for so I'm pretty lacking on my Electric teams considering the only electric agent I got in the game built is Anby. It's crazy, ik but i haven't needed any electric agents till now and ive been playing since the game dropped
And now im in a situation where now I have nobody electric built, and I'm thinking about waiting for these new banners.
But like after Astra I've been saving for Qingyi for the next banner (skipping eve since ive been fine with s11/burnice) and i didnt even need to think twice for pulling on S Anby. I'm just worried that even though you said we'd shoot ourselves in the foot for not pulling Qingyi (which i agree atm) I'm kinda concerned she wont work well with S Anby, given i dont plan on pulling for trigger.
TL;DR I want to get Qingyi and S Anby Because I literally have no electric agents built besides A Anby but I'm not sure if they'll work together well since I'm not summoning for Trigger
If you pull for a normal banner, you can get Rina as an S-rank Electric Support. I got her from a 50/50 pity trying to get Burnice, so you can also luck out on a bad situation if you feel the need to. Wether her playstyle is your thing is another matter, but it is a safe method.
@@leithaziz2716 I did loose a 50/50 for my first miyabi pull to Rina. I did end up getting miyabi but I haven't built Rina yet. She's support, but is she legitimately worth building for an electric team? She does seem more niche beyond just her element, but I could be wrong

I was happy with rerun i managed to get Astra and Ellen Engine I failed 50/50 for Astra engine T_T
Only characters Im missing is Burnice and Lighter i stopped playing for bit during Lighter but I lost 50/50 for Burnice T_T
I only have few s rank engines though (2 Koleda, 2 Soldier, Zhu Yuan, Caeser, Rina and Ellens
I still dont really have a use for qingyi right now. I pulled every single anomaly that released and with each character that released I've needed qingyi less and less. Plus with trigger and silver soldier anby on the horizon, I can't really see a reason to pick her up now. If I want to play the new Anby, trigger will more than likely be BETTER for her specifically than Qingyi. Chances are since trigger is the same faction as Soldier 11, she will probably be better for her than qingyi too. Qingyi just doesnt seem like the greatest pickup right now if you dont have zhu yuan???
What about Trigger for S11 for players, who don't have Lighter (such as myself)? It's clear that Lighter is going to be better anyway, but Trigger is an obol squad member - meaning she will play nicely with Soldier? or it's just my copium... Thoughts? 😅
More time of field for Soldier 11 = good
Having faction bonus = good
Using an Electric based teammate on a fire weak boss = not so good
The other stuff, hard to really tell what Trigger's kit is really going to be like. But there is no way it is going to be a horrible team, but it may end up pretty average depending on what the devs do with Trigger's final numbers.
But a stunner + attack with matching factions can't ever really be awful.

Still doesn't have a solid stunner but would you rather to pull qingyi or trigger. I dont build my lychaon and koleda and i dont have any fire dps aswell. Should i pull evelyn but i have burnice. I have yanagi aswell should i pull anby ?
So, with this all being said, should I get Qingyi, or should I wait and go for Trigger? I want a stun for a team with Harumasa, one of them, and Rina (or SS Anby, but I’m reconsidering getting her because of a possible Jane Doe rerun, same with Trigger).
Or if there’s a better team comp with Harumasa, any suggestions?
Wait until Trigger's kit is maybe finalized by around the end of 1.5 before deciding. That said, Qingyi is still better for Harumasa since he's a burst DPS that likes stunned enemies, and his quivers are hard to maintain. It's hard to tell for Trigger at the moment but if you can maybe play her as a traditional on-field stunner or play an anomaly team with Harumasa then she can somewhat work too. But Qingyi's stun damage buff still outclasses Trigger's. All I can say though is pull whoever you like more.
Why would I pull for Astra, who you dont even play as, when Qingyi exists, who has one of the most fun playstyle.
Honesty i just pull the character i want. Ill just get astra on her rerun. Characters i like first.. meta is second (Thats just my rule)

@IyoXS even tho I really like Ellen, but miyabi is just much better . Btw what do you think about future ice dps characters? Are they cooked since most people got miyabi? I mean, honestly, it's not worth it if it's not something unique or miyabi can't do.
I agree with most of what you said except the Ellen part. No f2p should EVER pull her, much less copies of her or her weapon if they care about meta. From a strictly meta point of view, she is the worst limited character in the game. Advising people to get dupes of her is even worst because that's them possibly missing out on even more broken units coming up.
Attack units in general are a tier below anomaly units and then you have Ellen being weaker than every other limited attacker AND us getting Miyabi who covers the same element.
I have Ellen, I don't regret getting her because she carried me in early game but that was within the context of 1.0, both the floor and the ceiling for characters has gone up since then and Ellen is the only limited character that has been objectively incapable of keeping up. By the time we get another ice dps, things will only look worst for her.
If someone likes her then she still works good enough but If someone asked me advice then that means they care about the performance of a character compared to other available options and my advice would be absolutely no.
Zhuyuan, a character that released the same patch as her, is doing noticebly better than her.
