I am using latest Jabra Direct Software as of June 30, 2021, firmware version 1.10.9 and Jabra Link 380 UC and it works fine with my airpods Pro and JBL Xtreme 2. It just is not quite intuitive - once paired you need to restart the Jabra software to make AirPods appear as paired. Using it more than a week - works great. Feature I like the most - it lights up when I open Airpods case - this means the device is paired. Also it continuously tries re-pairing with given devices - so if you want to use it with iPhone for some time, better unplug Jabra dongle. I like it still, if I knew it is not 100% of what I expected I would not buy it, but now as it is paid and here, I am too lazy to return, and I start liking it's features like multi color status led and continuous reconnect attempts, sound is crisp, no drops in connectivity so far
I used the latest software and no issues. Only issue was the phone seemed to forget about the airpods if you tried to connect them to the phone while the jabra dongle was plugged in. So simple solution was to have bluetooth off on the phone while using the jabra dongle. And then make sure the jabra is unplugged before re-enabling. Works a treat.

this worked with MS teams calls but using just them for listening to music on PC doesn't work for me and I am not sure why. for calls on MS teams they work fine but the min I want to start listing to music while I am not a call no audio comes. do you know why?
It still does not work with my Airpods 3. Can you confirm that it only supports Airpods pro? I updated my comment, since it does not work with ipods pro either. I could connect to Jabra link but in teams and also in zoom, mic does not work. I can use it as headphone but I cannot use the mic.
Have you witnessed that one of the AirPods disconnects during a call? I would raise the AirPod and get connectivity for a few seconds but drops again. This is mainly when used with Teams. Kind of annoying hearing only through one ear.
Hi William I have yes. It seems to be when the noise cancelling kicks in, the call starts with both Airpods and then one of them drops out. This seems to have happened since one of the newer updates to Teams but we don't have a fix just yet. We'll keep looking though!

So I've connected my Airpods Max with this and the good news is the mic works on Teams but the moment I try connect to Discord the audio cuts out and my mic stops working, only once I leave the discord call does it go back to working like normal aagain, any help from anyone?
My airpods 2 does not work correctly. On google meet, I can listen to the person but I can't use the mic. On Microsoft Teams, none of them work. Any suggestions to fix that?

Hiya - it sure does. We've tried the Jabra Link 380. We've also tried the Sennheiser and Airpods and didn't notice any difference in the quality of the audio/microphone. In the mean time, I found out that my earbuds worked perfectly without a dongle on my husband’s laptop (even with Teams, and headphones and headset simultaneously, and smooth automatic switching)... I found out that he was running an old BT driver and I installed that on my own laptop: PROBLEMS SOLVED!!! I won’t be needing a dongle after all. Intel BT version: 21.70.0.3
Hello, I've tried your method, and I've managed to connect the Airpods Pro to the Jabra 370 dongle. However, after a few minutes after reboot, airpods are connect, the output works fine, with quality audio, however, the microphone stops working after a couple of minutes. I've tested it with Zoom's audit testing and ouputs works well, input however, stops working. The only solution to make it work again, is to either remove the dongle, place earbuds in the case, close the case, reconnect the dongle and reopen the case,. This makes the airpods's mic work again, but again, only for a couple of minutes. Another solution is to reboot the laptop alltogether. None of these two solutions work when you've already joined the meeting. Any thoughs on how to resolve the matter? Thank you!
Great stuff! and yes.... still not what I would expect for the price!!! Especially when things like the Jabra 65T's are less than 100 bucks and the sound is amazing.
@@CloudNexus I have both the Airpods and Jabra 65T's working. I switched to the Airpods because talking with the Jabra 65T's drives me crazy. It is too isolated and I hear my own voice too much. But atleast the 370 usb works finally for Teams.

Hi Mitesh, great to hear from you. We have had a couple of similar challenges too. Usually it's the iPhone which grabs the Airpods which is why it temporarily breaks the link to the 370. Our quickest fix for that has been to disable the bluetooth on the iPhone when we're sat in the office all day and we know we're making Teams calls. But.... it's not a perfect solution I know! Still trying to find the best answer with Airpods but we're getting closer each time!
Does it mean if I use a Jabra usb adapter and connect my Airpods with it, I can use Airpods as audio input and output device (no hands-free poor quality)?
Hey Viktor, exactly. You can use the Airpods to take part in calls and you can use them to listen to audio, watch videos etc. and you have better audio quality versus when you pair with the native bluetooth on the device.

Hi everybody, I have bought Jabra Link 370. It is working with my airpods pro. Streaming from youtube is ok. But in MS Teams I have issue. After few seconds of conversation I can hear voice not from both headhones, but just only from left headphone only. I tried to reinstall completelly again, but the problem not solved. Checked Windows volume, mic settings. Please could you give me some advice, how to fix this. I will be very grateful for that.

In a call on teams, the airpods work great for approx the first minute and then the right airpod goes silent. If I remove from ear and put in again it come on for a few seconds and again goes silent. This only happends on the teams calls - other audio fromthe laptop works great. If I remove the left airpod the right one comes on but both dont seem to work.

Hiya - I have the AirPods Pro and I haven’t had a single issue with lost connection or dropped sound with them on iPhone. I’m on an iPhone 11 running IOS 14.4.1 at the moment. I’ve had the AirPods Pro since January and they’re pretty much my daily iPhone headphones so any Teams calls I do on there use the AirPods Pro. I regularly do calls over 1 hour on them without an issue. I must admit, I always thought this was just a Computer Bluetooth issue. But since your comment I’ve had a look and see that many people have issues on IOS too. Sorry I realise that doesn’t fix your issue on the iPhone, mine has always just worked. But now I’m intrigued so I’m off to do some research 🧐 (well heavy Googling and trawling Reddit 🤣).

Hiya - we haven’t managed to test with the AirPods Max. In theory yes as it’s the same workaround but I haven’t actually done it myself so I can’t be sure. If you try it, let us know how you get on.

I´ve paired my Airpods Pro but it doesn´t automatically connect to my airpods pro when I start the HP computer. And when I make a test call Teams says "Teams can´t hear you(...)". Also I can´t hit the connect button in Jabra. I am really dissapointed.
Hey Mike, I’m afraid it does need admin permission to run the installer yeah. So if you have a locked down company device, this solution won’t work for you. One of our commenters Jacques, has suggested the EPOS / Sennheiser dongle which can be used and doesn’t need any additional software. I’ll post a link to that device in the video description. Whilst it is pricier than the Jabra Dongle, it could be an option for you.

Still waiting for Microsoft to do the fix. My corporate laptop does not allow me to install Jabra Direct and I'm still reluctant to buy a Jabra Link just for this purpose.
Hi Marcus - no problem I totally understand that. We have also had some success using a different Bluetooth dongle. That method doesn’t require additional software but... it’s even more expensive than the Jabra dongle. Hopefully MS will sort this in one of the Teams updates!

What i have been doing is connecting my ear buds to my Iphone for conversation and viewing teams without audio via the laptop for any visual aids.

Why do I need to do this? I can connect the Air Pod Pros to my Windows 10 computer. What's the advantage? I still don't understand.

Yes absolutely, AirPods on the iPhone with Teams works great. I use that setup whenever I’m away from my computer.

You need software just for pairing. So pair them on your personal pc and use on company one

...Just pair the airpods pro as a bluetooth device natively within Win10. They show up as a device within Teams. This is not that complicated...
It is, because the microphone will sound like shit and your audio converts to handsfree mode..
now test the mic quality lol.
