- In this video, I finished up the installation & review of the new Smittybilt XRC Front Stubby Bumper paired with the all new Smittybilt XRC Gen3 12k Winch w/ Synthetic Rope! This setup was easy to install; however, a couple of lessons learned along the way will be shared, so be sure to watch the entire video! I absolutely LOVE the finished look!!

Hi, I just got the same Smittybilt bumper with a warn winch 10 and it damaged the fog light plug in, there is no clearance between them! How about your Smittybilt winch? Thank you
Sorry for the crazy delay, YT notifications are horrible.. I LOVED the winch, never had an issue, and used it about 3-4 times. Have since sold the JT.
where did you connect the logo light?
I located a fuse in the fuse box that was active with the ignition and tapped there. So mine comes on when the Jeep is powered on, not only when the lights come on. If I had it the way I want it, I would tie into the parking lights, but couldn't find where to tap.

install the same winch. but every time i use the winch the check engine light comes on on my jl wrangler.. code is B21E3... you dint have the same issue
I don’t have this issue. Perhaps a wiring issue? Did you connect the negative to the right post? I also use the Tazer Mini for winch mode which revs and holds the engine to help the alternator output more juice.
I’m thinking about getting this front bumper for my gladiator as well. Looks great! Since you have to take the skid plate off, does the bumper still protect the motor for the sway bar disconnect? Can’t find much out there on that feature
It doesn’t have a skid for it, but I think that’s a reason I need you build upon it.
How was the clearance with the tire? I’m getting this bumper and have 37s and concerned if it will rub that pointed corner.
I have no issues with mine and I run 39"s, this is even under full flex in a turn. I think you'll be fine.
@@Chromedonkey thank you for the feedback. Good to hear. I love the look of the bumper. I got the warn winch tho, I think it will fit without issue.
I went online and it’s telling me this model doesn’t fix a gladiator? Obviously that’s not the case because you put one on. Did you run into the same thing?
It definitely fits. The JL and JT from the cab forward are virtually the same vehicle. I didn't have any issues.
I just went with the same set up front and rear on my JKU
How did you wire the logo?
I did some trial and error on which fuse had power when the ignition was on and tied into that (drilled a tiny hole in the fuse box lid to pass the wire through). I’ll try and get the fuse #.

It would have been nice to have seen the actual install. With the video fast forwarded, it really didn't show any of the details of the installation. Looks good though.
Yea, no doubt. I'm trying to work on getting better at "install" videos where I stop at each step, take the time to show what i'm about to do, etc.. This install was a bear, so I tried, but failed to really do a good job here.. Will work on that moving forward.

Nice set up! How's the view on the front camera? Any visibility blockage?
Can still see plenty, part of the reason I landed on the KC Flex 10" bar instead of two BD LP6's. Then again, I don't really find myself using the trail cam all that much while on the trail.
You 100% can install that bumper yourself. Annoying, but possible.
Better man than I then.. Just get a buddy to help, save yourself the pulled muscle and dropped nuts & bolts :) Just buy more beer lol
