Can't afford to buy these heads but will be sending in my 241 heads to get ported and polished by you guys within next month sure I won't be disappointed
You know a lot of people complain or are so religiously against using Texas Speed or say things like they are way overpriced ect... but at the end of the day it just look at all the R&D and testing and so on and so forth, not going to Lie I will probably give them a call at some point. I'm not rich by any means at all but one thing I do like is good quality parts.
Hi there really liked watching your video. I have an ls1 with mildly ported heads. I would like to use this car for drag racing and occasional street use. My car weighs around 1800kg with me in it 3.9 diff gears and a 3500 rpm stall backed by a 4l60e. I am currently using a 227 - 234 @50 cam LSA is 112 . Lift is 600 intake and 600 exhaust. Intake manifold is standard. The car is reasonably quick on the street and has instant torque but has only managed a 12.4 on on the track. What cam would you recommend to get the times down given what I have to work with.
What’s the largest recommended head for a n/a ls3 I’m wanting around 500+ rwhp with the Chevy asa cam which the specs are 226/236@.050 with a 110 lsa which is what Chevy uses for the ls376/525
People with the PRC LS3 255cc heads, cam, headers, exhaust, CAI, and tune hit 500rwhp. TSP makes a 260cc head that probably won't hurt. That cam will hold you waaaay back from hitting 500rwhp. Get on LS1tech.com and ask questions.
Ordered and received my heads/cam (227/231 116LSA) package, with all the upgrades) for my TVS2300 powered Gen5 6.2 Silverado w/ TSP headers. Should have installed and dynoed next week. Anyone want to guess the numbers? Right now, with headers only @ 6psi, stock air box and stock exhaust after the high flow cat it made 501/568.
Holy hell! Same here... I was about to call TSP just to ask. You'd really think it would be smarter of them to put TSP on the end of the heads to advertise the business.
with all there fancy cnc machines your telling us they cant get it right? hard to believe your local head shop would be better, but anything is possible.
Thanks for still manufacturing the best products here in the good ole USA

Wait... @1:57 did it say "we work as hard to burn your dollars as you do" ?? LOL!
@@TexasSpeedPerformance I figured that's what it was. Had to listen a few times lol.
I wish I had more money, I would be giving you calls left and right
Here's a question. How can you physically tell the difference between the PRC 265 LS7's and the PRC 285 LS7 castings?
How much power does this increase
how much hp can i get for ls2 engine ??

Enrique Morales I’m not necessarily talking about 500 whp but that’s the cam Chevy uses to make 525 hp
America 🇺🇸

On time????? I ordered my heads a week ago and still haven’t even shipped yet. Charge went through on my card……🤔🤔🤔🤔
Do prc heads start off as casts, or billets? I swear mine look like billets when I ordered them in 2013
it says cast in the first 2 seconds of the video man....smh
i have a ls3 maro, what kind of heads for that one

Would the Precision Race Components Stg. 2.5 LS6 Heads be good combination for a 4.8 vortec???
Valve might be to big
I'm gonna test cfm flow on a 799 head and see it matchs their claimed 316crm
Dang, I'm getting old. I had to wait until 2:06 on the video to find out what PRC stood for, because I struggled to find the answer on the web.

Huh?? Literally the first 3 spoken words of this video are "Precision Race Components" as in "PRC". ....
How does anyone miss that is beyond me...
Has anyone had any problems with these heads right out of the box
Utah county Picazo's page I had a local machine shop re cut the valve seats. They were decent out of the box but not perfect.

Bob Jordan is showing his automotive genius😂
Yeah heard the castings suck ass too. Heard the rocker stands break on the ls7 heads
Huh
