For me i wouldn't say I'm close but I'm half way there as I've now just got the A32A aswell as the beginner heli for sweden (HKP3C 104,996k more rp till I get the HKP2) and I only started sweden like a month ago I would be further if they change how much everything cost to buy
1:00 it's crazy to me how lost the tail control isn't severe damage... So irritating to hit someone and get just crit, then they fly in a straight line for 1 minute until someone steals

First, the top tier nowadays is designed so that even the worst players can get a kill. Even pilots with experience similar to mine have the same problem of dying a lot in top-tier matches, so it's not something unique to you. Being good doesn't mean you'll play 100 games and survive 100 times; maybe you'll only die 50 or 40 times, understand? It's difficult even for me. A 16v16 match is not made for the pilot to return home safely. Regarding missiles, you need to be aware that to dodge them, all missiles have evasive maneuvers and aspects where they are easier to defeat. This depends on your plane's speed, your positioning (altitude, mountains, objects, etc.), and for the missiles to hit more effectively, there are conditions like some missiles working better at certain speeds, altitudes, distances... always take these into consideration. This is the most summarized answer I could give you because if I were to explain everything, I would spend a day writing. I've given you just a small push so you can evolve on your own. Every missile in the game has a recipe to follow. When you understand the parameters of speed and AOA (angle of attack) of the missiles, you will be able to dodge them more efficiently. This all has to be considered along with the plane you're in, the speed, the aspect, etc. There are many factors. I couldn't explain everything in detail without writing a book, but if you understand the beginning of the concept I've written here, you'll already be above 90% of the best pilots in War Thunder

Also at higher altitudes and high speed, you can hit some impressive BVR shots (granted your target is clueless, hard committed or just in the worst position)
It's already done. Well, it's quite difficult to play with it, to be honest. Anything that doesn't have AIM-120s or isn't an F-15 requires triple the effort to succeed

Why do people say the MiG-23ML is good? I only got 1 2 kills game and 2 1 kills game in 2 HOURS! R-24s are absolutely useless! They don't lose track even if the enemy pop 1 flare!
Simply skill issue. You have all aspect missiles at 11.7 when most jets above you don’t have them. And you have fast accelerating Radar missiles that guarantee you win in a headon.
love how missiles just disappear against you when you are flying low instead of exploding and crippling your plane
