im 26 and i am getting it aswell. How did it go?
I suffered 7 hour long atrial fibrillation episodes before being treated. All I could do was get home and fall on the bed and pray for it to end. My heart rate could be around 130 bpm on average, or more. It was frightening, debilitating and exhausting.
I had two ablations under sedation. The first didn’t work, a week later my a/fs were back. I returned for a redo and this time they nailed it. It was wonderful to be back in sinus rhythm and have a normal calm heartbeat again. That was over a year ago and I’m fine, no a/fs and I’m off all arrhythmia medication.
If this treatment is an option for you take my advice and grab it with both hands. For me it gave me my life back so I no longer have to live in fear of the next episode. I can’t express my gratitude to the electrophysiologist who treated me and the science and technology behind their work enough.
Can I ask if you couldn't afford to pay for this to be done or have no insurance what would happen?

I live in Manchester U.K. , so payment or insurance wasn’t an issue fortunately, NHS took excellent care of me. I don’t know what this procedure would cost privately, but if that was my only option I’d probably need to get a bank loan.
@@millyarscott8656 insurance is only an American oddity. Elsewhere, there is collective assurance called taxes and universal healthcare.

i had this done, but i see by all the USA VT everyone was asleep, mine was done while i was awake, but it was ok, been 1 year long on now, and feel fab, so glad i had it done

Go to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. They are the best in the country, perfirm more ablations than many hospitals combined and specialize in difficult cases.

My hubby has brugarda syndrome Hes going to have this procedure but it wont cure him. I think my son has it but the paediatric cardiologist says otherwise. Its tachycardirythmia he says so y wen the ambulance arrived and 3 occasions in A&E was i told his ECG is identical to his dads... son wants to b a Dr n save lives for a living......he is an exceptionally gifted child plz cud sum1 advise me Dr Yang?

Don't feel bad im in the same boat and only 24. There aren't major risks with this and it's very common. Believe in your doctor!

I just had it done yesterday. It was surprisingly not that bad even when I was awake during the whole thing. It for sure helped me. But you discuss with a doctor and make an informed decision

How much it procedure cost in India?
Why the hell would an American hospital or doctor know about what prices are like in India? Prices can vary hugely within just a city let alone a whole damn country.
Probably 13 thousand rs
The best person to do this in India is Dr. Calambur Narasimhan at AIG Hospitals Hyderabad.
