I've listened to Jethro over and over again and I still cannot get enough of him.
I wished I could have seen him live on the stage
I was lucky enough to see Jethro in the 1990's in Wimbledon theatre
i am 63 this man will be sadly missed the same as all of the greats

Although he wasn’t on tv regularly, according to Jim Davidson in his eulogy speech at Jethro’s funeral (on TH-cam), Jethro’s dvds sold more than anyone else’s. Must have sold in the millions. Great comedian.

Over 30 years ago, I spent three nights in the local pub in st buryan, He was there, those three nights and had us in absolute stitches, what a fantastic comedian the roof nearly fell off the pub.

My favourite comic, sadly gone, never saw him use the “F” word like so many do nowadays, very suggestive but never offensive, absolutely brilliant, thanks for all the laughs Jethro, we’ll miss you.

I went to see Jethro once. I’d never heard of the bloke and got offered the tickets as someone cancelled. Laughed non stop all evening and several of his jokes is on my all time favourite list. Honoured to have seen him before he passed.
I've heard almost all of Geoffs jokes, but they still make me laugh. He had a unique talent. RIP.

Saw him twice and met him once after a show in Bournemouth. I'll never forget him walking out to meet his fans with his pipe in his mouth.

We saw him in Ivybridge about six years ago. It's a small venue which was completely sold out. Jethro came into the bar before the show and went round and spoke to as many people as he could, which luckily included my wife and I. It was like talking to someone you have known for years. We both came out of the show with aching sides through laughing so much. RIP Jethro.

The greatest comedian never seen on TV enough
I saw Geoff just before lockdown. I lived very near him and as was his wont he came down and spoke to people before the show. He told me he was retiring from touring. Such a pity he had no time to enjoy it. RIP old friend.

I was at Jethro's funeral today. Jim Davidson spoke and it was hilarious.

@@patkearney9320 he was a legend in Cornwall. You can't go into a cornish pub without hearing the local old cornish boys stood telling stories beginning with "What happened woz!"
A happy event is definitely what he would have wished for.
A different class of comedy that will probably never be seen again. At least we were able to enjoy it.

One of the best ever, I remember the joke he told about his mate getting the hoover pipe stuck up his bum, he asked the nurse how he was doing and she said oh he's picking up nicely, absolute class RIP Jethro.

Aw, just class. Sorely missed. The great comics make it sound so easy and he was a great comic whom should have had more exposure on tv. His style and delivery was up there with the God's of comedy.
One of a kind and much missed may his soul rest in peace. My nan loved him on his tv appearances but went to see him live and was a bit shocked at his stage material lol but said he was still funny when he didn’t swear or be too vulgar lol.
"The train don't stop here on...." Somehow, that fragment of a pay-off line stays with me from a great addition to the roster of top comedy performers.
