The most viewed cinematic of all time also has scatter arrow lmao.
💀💀💀
Very true lmao
You're missing the point. Scatter arrow was not a big part of Hanzo's identity as a character. The Dragons on the other hand are, as well as his relationship with his brother Genji. His point is, removing a core aspect of a character as a means to balance the game is not the ideal way of going about things. Takes away from the Overwatch experience as a whole and the lore we've been following for the past 8 years.
@@mateocastro3827what are your thoughts on doomfist?
@@mateocastro3827 so remove suzu
using cinematics to justify balance changes is crazy considering half the characters from them have been reworked and no longer have access to moves shown off in them, or even they just had moves made up for the cinematic. remember reaper having grenades in the OW intro cinematic?
Remember Kiriko running on rooftops in the actual hero trailer? Not even the lore cinematic
Reaper having grenade launchers on an ability would actually be good, gives him some ranged skillshot potential and the ability to deal with armor while not overturning his actual damage against heroes without armor.
I think it’s a bit unfair to criticize that point, but is we where you’re coming from.
Dooms identity is 6 ft under in that case
@@skyler7017 wdym?
bro fuck the cinematic if it sucks for gameplay it sucks for gameplay
Kiri had LOS in the cinematic, watch it again. She is looking through the peephole.
You are doing a whataboutism with Kiri
Was Hanzo Scatter Arrow in the cinematic and was changed, yes, yes it was
i mean people prob remember the cinematic for the dragon more of the scatter arrow. the dragon had the symbolic meaning but the scarrow arrow was just cool
To be fair to ain't the bad part
Sure but Hanzo E works similar to scatter arrow to where it's not a big deal, you could perceive it as the same thing in the cinematic
Yeah, but scatter arrow hanzo might've been the worst hero identity in the history of the game. Hanzo sucked to play as and against, his arrows were too slow to be reliable outside of reaper range, so he'd just huck them into chokes where an enemy might eventually be. When the enemy got close enough, you had anti-rez on a 10 second cooldown, just shoot vaguely at the enemy's feet.
I saw the comments talking about using the cinematics for balancing and thought it was a TikTok, wasn’t expecting a whole tangent by Flats about it lmao
Kiri's suzu isn't in the cinematic lol just saying
Therefore, remove suzu
"No immortality, anti-healing or one shots outside of ults" would be a fantastic rule for the devs to start following
Yeah idk why he always brings up tp in these arguments, no one complains about tp in comparison to SUZU
@@TevAndo886I think I’m more pissed off it’s intangibility instead invincibility like when u punch in on doom and go through them hit a wall and fucking explode like that’s stupid u I do something like pin somone I should be able to actually grab them with the pin and not just fly through regardless of wether I get damage or not
@@imminent_gans"No one complains about tp"
yeah, I don't know about that one chief.
The sentence "idk why every hero need a escape ability" is being dropped on a regular basis.
flats ignored the guys point of kiri was poorly designed at the start, not that they need to rework her. flats whole point is but her cutscene had tp, but his whole point is one character shouldn't have so many abilities that just solve anything
Honestly, I think TP is Kiriko's most balanced ability, but it's also the most unnecessary, because she also shares the Wall Climb passive that Genji and Hanzo both possess.
The reason she's broken isn't really even any single ability on their own. The real problem is all of the bonus effects they all provide on top of them. Like her cleanse also providing temporary immortality, and her teleport also cleansing any negative status effects (but not positive ones because that wouldn't be fair ):), and her weapon having the highest critical multiplier in the entire game, on top of ome of the most powerful and game-changing ultimates in OW history.
The Kiriko one was definitely done by the guy who voices the Jarl's court wizard in Skyrim
dragons cinematic had scatter arrow in it. #justiceforscatterarrow
Nah f that ability
and kiri cinematic had LOS, she did not tp through walls.
during free trial weekend i played venture nonstop and instalocked in every game, didn't get them only one time, and the other dps only left maybe 10% of the time. it wasn't like every single game people would leave if they didn't get what they wanted, more people leave immediately when the gamemode is flashpoint than on free trial weekend
you cannot tell me you care more about hero identity then what is fun to play against, I actually cannot take that point seriously
Anyone who says Tank is easy in OW has never faced adversity in their life.
so when is reaper gonna shoot bombs, when is hanzo getting his scatter back, and when is genji gonna be able to deflect hanzo's dragons way after the arrow has disappeared, since you know cinematics and all?
14:43 Never change Flats!😂
The SF shock doom 1:14 rotate it, it's upside down.
In the rein cinematic you could actually kill orisa, scatter arrow exists
ngl kiri should have 225 hp
I swear we saw these before
I would be pretty easy to nerf tp through wall. Just make it so the tp between wall distance is like half. We can rework parts of hero identity. We did it with hanzo. Storm arrow was something really cool people loved about hanzo at launch. The entire richchet aspect was part of hanzos kit as an archer. Yet we removed it for balancing sake because sure, hanzo 1 shots on tanks were annoying af. Then we got it back when they added ricochet to storm arrow. So he still has that part in his kit. Just do some alterations in kiri's kit to make the tp between walls less effective but still there.
The Kiriko take was one of the worst I’ve ever seen flats make… Look at Sombra and Hanzo who cared about their identity. Making Kiriko need LOS is a much smaller thematic change than turning Translocator from a set point to a fucking enderpearl.
Yall i actually hard agree that character feel should kinda proceed balance whenever possible obviously there's limitations to this but I also feel like most character Reworks have ended up being a negative for how the character feels I know for me as somebody who is a huge fan of OverWatch 1 Sombra who got a lot of the appeal being the sword of shut down little shit just the way modern somber plays just does not really give me any sort of desire to go back to her. I also feel like a lot of the time you can re balance abilities without fully changing them like for instance with chirico make it so if it's going through walls it just has a severe distance limitation when compared to line of sight that way you can still kind of keep it as a way to get back to your team through walls but it is very limited and she's a lot more easy to take care of if she doesn't have good positioning. But I mean speaking genuinely how many OverWatch reworks is actually made the character feel better for both people who enjoy it and people who play against it maybe like pharah but I mean it didn't really change her, symmetra is weird i would argue she is way less interesting and way more annoying now, orisas is way worse imo. Tbh like Torbjorn is the only significant improvement i can think of with like even bastion being way more boring imo
In general I think reworks have the problem of them being designed for people who hate the character instead of people who like a character because the people who hate the character probably aren't going to change and start playing them and are instead going to be happy just because the character they hated is out of the game while people who used to like the character are sometimes just going to completely drop them because they lose the appeal for them. And I think many people has had their favorite characters rework would honestly agree that we would rather have the character just get nerfed into the ground while keeping their identity at least then we can still play with the character we fell in love with
Very annoying how no one cares about quick play when it's literally the only thing you can play if you want to play with friends on Xbox when you're on a computer. I would be on comp if I could be.
Meanwhile me every support game having to check what the other support picks so I know if I need to go - yea, they picked low burst heal, guess I'm playing Ana to keep the tank up. Ups, looks like they have an Ana as well and we're running a tank that gets obliterated by anti nade, guess I'm living the rest of the game on my tank's shoulders with Kiriko so I can Suzu them and keep them alive so they can actually play the game without dying inside. It ain't much but it's honest work.
3:18 I actually had this too, might just be not in high elo
No way we’re arguing in favor of an objectively broken ability just because of a cinematic.
That guy complaining about the hero trials is probably the exact reason why they made lever penalties in general so that they could keep testing out things without having people leave all the time just because they didn't get to test it out for that match sure everyone's experience is different but I hardly had any games where someone just leaves because they didn't get venture
Flats did not cook with this one.
That meowing in the beginn of the Video Made me question my sanity
i have no idea where the argumentation comes from that kirikos teleport shouldn't require LoS because of a CINEMATIC?! That's such a dumb stance to take.
Hanzo used scatter arrow in cinematics, we don't have that yet, Cassidy used to be called McCree, yet that name isn't even mentioned in a side note anymore.
i think the TP requiring LoS is a fantastic change and allows counterplay
Pretty hot take here i was watching the last video where he talks a bit about counterwatch one of my most hated things on tank is getting dogged knowing first point on defense is very situational I can be instantly counter picked I think there should be a 30 to 45 second timer that locks the attacking tank on which ever tank they were on when the doors opened that way there wouldnt be as much incentive to swapping immediately after the 30 to 45 seconds is up because of ult charge during that time dont get me wrong this take is quite actually just a bandaid to a larger problem but it would at least fix one of my most hated interactions around the mechanic ❤
11:30 yea i bet that playing tank isn't fun because i main support and i need to always keep an eye out for the tank sometimes i get mad with good reasons (1v5 without ult and he's a rein like calm down even i don't have ult) but i love when i go dps (to relax) and my friend mains tank rein/doom and i had a game that a ana was talking sh*t to him meanwhile he never uses the grenade to help him in the healing department and i even notice she was trying to hit the enemy pharah with the grenade insted of our tank and then she was complainning about we (dps) that we can't kill the pharh like i was junkrat helping the rein with the rest of the team and keeping them from rushing us and my other friend was torb hunting her but we cannot do a thing if their tank etc is free to shot us too so we kinda nedded our tank to stay alive
7:22 this my friends is stockholm syndrome in action
I was under the impression that the "Mauga 2.0, illary 2.0" was the way forward for blizzard. Like they doubled down on overtuning new heroes or did they not?
whats he talking about identities? hanzo once had scatter. which was also shown in his cinematic. so?
bringing up kiri's cinematic to justify her tp is a bad take. In that case every hero should be like their cinematics. Tracer infinite blink and recall, widow infinite grapple and suspension with grapple and cant be flanked while scoped cause she eyes everywhere, reaper infinite fade ability, rein has pin whenever he wants, doom can punch whenever grab whenever, and block and slam whenever, winston has an infinite jump pack he cause use whenever. they dont have that though despite it being in the cinematics so kiri doesnt need it either. horrible take
That last dude saying what he did about DPS i think doesnt play DPS...like ever. Its really easy to boil down DPS to just hit your shots, same for supports "just heal your team" or whatever. Theres more to it than just hitting shots. Postioning, target priority, pressure priority, duels, knowing your matchups is just as important on DPS as it is tank. Theres also the fact that DPS in all honesty have unbalanced expectations on them. The amount of times ive struggled to fully remove Phar-mercy from the game but yet I dont have a support pumping me with heals as i take on a 2v1 duel is crazy. My aim is good enough to kill Pharah or Mercy, put them together and its much harder when the Mercy players is cha cha sliding through the air.
lol dps is the most chill role ever in OW. I pick dps to relax.
@@button9 You must play snipers, cuz certain characters don't really give you the room to do that. To me support is the role id pick if I wanted to take it easy.
@@tigerfalco nope. I play all sorts, cas, soldier, junk, pharah, bastion, and a random mix of whatever for certain maps
You can say that Kiriko can tp to LoS because she was looking through the doorhole in cinematic, the tp back was through door, ok, 1 tp through wall, arguably that doesn't mean anything, I can argue that its her home, she knows it like the back of her hand
this is how i "fix" kiri. cleanse should only cleanse debuffs. none of this rein pin and sig rock shoots through the cleansed target. the CC of those abilities should still apply. if you wanna have them be invulnerable sure. but also reduce the invulnerability duration of suzu to make the skill check a bit harder. Also, it shouldnt wake up sleeping targets thats dumb. If zarya bubble doesnt do it then the AOE suzu shouldnt either.
It’s not all the abilities it’s all of them combined.
That’s just wrong suzu is by far the strongest cooldown in the game. Aoe, Immortality, Intangibility, healing, bonus healing all on a 15 SEC cd.
Swift Step is one of the strongest movement abilities in the game. 35m range is genuinely insane. It cleanses and gives an invulnerability window. All on a 7 SEC CD. That’s less than genji/venture dash.
Her kunais used to be busted now they’re only really good.
I will stand by the fact that healing Ofuda is one of the strongest heals in the game. 35m range, and while it’s not aoe you can hit multiple people at a time with auto locking heals.
Then Kitsune rush which can be argued to be the best ult in the game especially as a combo tool. Kitsune+whole hog = lost team fight.
So no Kiri is not a sum of her parts she is the 2nd strongest hero they’ve added into the game after brig and before sig and soj.
What if only dps characters could headshot? Getting headshot by a junkrat would be funnier than getting one shot by a hog
If were talking about character idenity in terms from animated shorts then wouldn't the same apply to Hanzo? He doesn't have scatter arrow anymore and its was in the short but no one is complaining about that being gone. It's a strange argument to make since I feel like tping to only visable targets would add some ability to chase her down and kill her instead of just disappearing behind a wall somewhere.
Here me out ...hanzo ult should be able to synergize with storm arrow alow the ult arrow to bonuce off of walls
Okay hear me out Flats, 5v5, but the players have their screens off and they all have spectators telling them what to do
😀👍
They should just remove the text chat in ow2 lmao
MIGHT be a hot take but i think no support should headshot, kinda weird i know but anas Dps has not really been opressive amd she cant head shot (i know she could 3 tap a tracer but not anymore). while the other Supports that out put good dps besides moira can head shot. baps had to have his clip size nerf i believe kiris dps has been nerf'd at one point, illari has real good damage out put as well and i believe it was nerf'd. im not saying supps shouldnt be able to defend themselves but the no headshot might have a net positive on being bust down as it remove two players for getting crits when all Ining someone down, now they might need a small compensation buff to deal with dueling DPS idk kinda a weird thought i had after flats mentions ana no headshots
Doesn't like League or DOTA or one of those games have a thing where if you leave a match and the enemy team loses shortly after you get banned from matchmaking for some time? I'm not saying that OW would benefit from a thing like that, all I'm saying is that it's an option.
Replace Hanzo’s ult with unlimited scatter
Flats, you did in fact fall into the sunk cost fallacy. you see it too narrow mindedly. there is an idea based off of a cinematic that has conditioned you to think its a part of the character. You can easily create more lore, expand the abilities characters have and then swap powers out accordingly.
Kind of annoying that he overlooked a completely valid point and treated it like its stupid just because he was ignorant of what was being said
3:10 he’s right though?
Why all of sudden do you care about "Hero Identity" when it's about Kiriko when you have multiple videos where you complain about them balancing around "The Hero Identity"
Lmao support mains truly do lack self awareness, i know because i am one
Its sad how toxic people get in qp, which is just active practice mode. And all those who flex in qp about how great of a player they are is just a statement showing how terrible they are in comp amd thats why they are flexing in qp
People know to blame tank when shit goes South, but no one seems to know when the tank is making things happen cause they don't play tank. All the while the people will take more time blaming who they think is at fault then trying to provide positive direction on how to turn it around.
probably cause its faster to type: Tank you suck. Rather then
Go easy running around the corner I don't have LoS to heal you.
Lol you can sleep on it all u want flats but quick play is literally miserable and as fun as trying venture out is it terrible if nobody is having fun in the chill mode
8:53 gonna have to disagree with ya there flats kiri is mainly good bcuz suzu is broken as hell
13:40 literally me some weeks ago. Lost one team fight, supports started flaming my ass instead of helping.
I will always hate how shit flats take is on Quick play like when its the only game mode that you can play crossplatform of course people are gonna want to play to win and his shit takes that its ok to throw in quickplay role que is shit and one of the hundred reasons no one should ever take his opinions seriously.
strongly disagree with the kiriko cinematic point
Over a year and people keep complaining about kiriko...
3 tiktoks and the rest is yapping about the tiktok bro play the damn tiktoks and less yapping, you can talk but not yap
Same tiktoks.
I totally agree with flats reasoning about how hero’s abilities can be parts of their identity, but that shouldn’t make you think they won’t take them away. With the Hanzo cinematic example, reworking his ultimate would definitely get rid of that part of his identity, but that didn’t stop them from taking away scatter arrow even tho that was in the cinematic too. And Flats also mentioned how Kiri’s suzu is a part of her identity gameplay wise, but that doesn’t mean they won’t take that away either. For example, once again, Hanzo’s one shot was taken away when that’s always been his defining feature as a sniper oneshot hero. They took away Cass’s stun when that has been a part of his gameplay identity forever. My point is that it doesn’t matter how important something is to the hero’s identity, if there’s a good reason to change it, they will.
We also threw hero identity out the window with sombra and bastion reworks
Reinhardt used to have being an unstopable force people fear in battle as part of his identity. Now he's the cybertruck of overwatch
@@jevy2099 yeah definitely and I don’t know how I didn’t think to mention doom, probably the biggest rework/identity change in ow history
@jevy2099 I mean not really? What's sombras identity? Hacking, which she still does, and teleporting from danger. Bastions whole identity is largely around turret mode. And lore wise it makes sense he changes and gets upgrades thanks to torb. In comparison Hanzos dragons are the biggest part of his identity. It was the stand out of his lore. Scatter arrow is just a random arrow.
Hanzo doesn’t have a scatter arrow literally tattooed on his arm. He does have a dragon though. I think it’s a bit of a different scenario.
i just wish kiriko didnt have two invencibilities on top of a small hitbox and good health for her size
maybe tie suzu to the tp in some way so she uses both at once? like a reverse liveweaver grip idk anything so that shes actually punishable
Would be interesting to see how Kiriko performs at 225 HP. If adding 25 HP to Zen made him an actual server admin for like a week, would taking away those 25 HP from Kiriko make her not unequivocal top pick 100% of the time?
@@bohdanpyzh2712 that could work honestly
Kiri has a normal hitbox
Ok not in idle animation only but that for most characters that hold their hands up
the cinematic argument has to be one of the worst talking points dawg LOL
It also doesn't apply across the board. Take Junkrat for example: he is constantly characterised as being a bit mad, reckless and doesn't think things through. Playing careful from the backlines spamming chokes and the enemy tank does not lend to this idea at all but that is what he is being pushed into. His previous playstyle of assassin rat, however, did fit the bill perfectly: a bit mad, reckless and risky. Lore outside the game does not dictate how heroes are portrayed or play in the game.
@@jamesbernadette6216 I agree the cinematic argument was stupid but your argument is honestly much worse. one is about an ability and yours is about a playstyle/pesonality two completely different things. do you really expect every single junkrat player to act like a lore wise junkrat, no? and assassin rat as you call it is still how junk is played id say around 70% of the time (obviously excluding people who have no idea how he is supposed to be played). A better example that everyone else is using is scatter arrow, no longer in the game but it's in the cinematic, and no he's not really being pushed into a blindless spam character at all, junkrat has always been and always will be supposed to played as a flanker/assassin.
That and the fact that she did have LOS in the cinematic via the peephole.
@@jamesbernadette6216 you forget that junkrat is ridiculously smart.
I’m dying at the cinematic argument. Bastion turret form? Hanzo’s scatter? Sombra? Reaper’s shadow step is being changed as well. Who cares what the abilities are in a cinematic😂. Who gives a shit what is and isn’t “lore accurate” in a game that gave up on PVE
Respectfully, you mentioned TP is not a problem on it's own on Kiri and spoke about her identity. Fair point, but then you went on and said it's an issue cos she has a loaded kit. Was that not the point of Noah's TikTok? Still love the vids.
Yeah I think him replying to chat halfway through didn't really help his case
He said that TP on its own wasn't the problem, and that the problem was when you take all of her other abilities into account as well.
Sombra sets her translocator down for later TP in her cinematic. They have scatter arrow in the hanzo/genji cinematic. They have bastion non movable turret form in his cinematic. Its almost like they can change things from the cinematic.
That wasn't the point he was making, but ok
irl shit gets updated so dont think too much into it
@@PalpatineGaming Yes but he's saying its a part of her identity when a lot of other peoples "identites" changed from their cinematic yet they're still fundamentally the same character.. If Kiriko falls apart because you take her tp through walls away then her identity was weak to begin with
They should change suzu if anything, suzu is the problem, i couldnt give a crap about her tping through walls since it relies on an ally being there, I don't like her utility that is there just to stop her being moira 2
imo flats is right though, he just didn't express it in the best way he could, early hero designs were so tight, you had a few abilities but they all mattered, now we have stuff like illari and life weaver were abilities have no synergy and look like they are just there to check boxes or cover their weaknesses, there's no power fantasy on those heros, for example, sigma power fantasy is gravity controlling mad scientist, but he has a shield for no reason, thats the clear out of place ability, but i can't even tell what is lifeweaver and illaris identity, platform, pull, pillon, and healing beam sound like 4 different identities, they could remove one of those and empower the other and the hero would feel much better to play, cause now you would have a clear strength and weakness, but the game just doesn't work like that anymore, i miss old sombra cause i knew i would run fast af in invis but i had to care about it running out, now she is just boring to me, to the point were invis looks out of place in her kit.
if we’re talking about character identity, they literally removed the “fighting character in fps” part of doomfist.
I love tank doom but yeah, the devs have already shown that they don’t give a fuck about hero identity.
The doom fist weopon is his identity
And the way he plays completely shows how it feels to wear one he doesn't need to be able to insta kill but he needs to feel powerful when he gets a kill dont tell me you dont feel good when you punch somoene that was half ho and they die

yeah yeah hero identity is all good and fun. But having a fair, balanced and fun game is more important.
True, but some character’s identity is literally all the hero is. Bastion cant be bastion without turret, and fails to have purpose without it. Doesn’t mean it can’t be reworked but it definitely cannot be removed unless you remove bastion as a whole.
Ok bro this has to be a reupload or something I already watched these some how everytime even tho i havent seen them in stream idk whats going on
Cut up reacts are uploaded as shorts ahead of this. Probably saw those.
You either watched shorts or someone else like Emongg
I’d like to balance kiriko teleport like wraith from apex legends, where it has an animation that takes time to do, so that it’s not just a get outta jail free card.
thats actually a brilliant idea
That’s really want I want as a kiri main. She has things like a wall climb and stuff to break los so let her use that to cover up the tp. It would make it a more skillful thing than just poof gone.
That last TikTok: spitting the most real facts TikTok has ever heard
we have seen all of these before....
also cinimatics are regullarly wrong
sig no longer goes through walls... so the buff was for nothing
True the Hanzo cinematic was the worst comparison he could've made. By that logic the Hanzo identities are,
Cinematic: wall climb, one shot, scatter arrow, dragon
Season 9: wall climb, dragon.
Honestly changing sonic arrow to a disable/EMP arrow that's better against things like barriers and buildings would be pretty cool. It could be tied into the arrow he fires at that Hashimoto omnic in the cinematic that shuts him off.
@@tau-5794 ohh wait your right, he had in the cinematic a paralyzing/electric arrow instead of Sonic.

Flats by ur kiriko explanation about hero identity. Hanzo scatter arrow was his identity too ? Its in the cinematic when he fights genji rmb ?
But u prob wont even think about it because u know scatter arrow one shotted tanks back then . So i would argue that hero identity is not more important than fun/balanced to play against . That is such a weak argument bruh.
Btw flats from last week, The Finals has 20k concurrent players every day.
Just gonna go on the cinematic thing and mention a few things:
Hanzo's scatter arrow
Orisa's pull POTG animation
Orisa's drum POTG animation
Orisa's entire cinematic holy shit she got changed so much-
Bastion's stationary turret form
There's undoubtedly more but yeah, the metric for balancing heroes has not, nor should it ever, take CINEMATICS into account. That is just... it's certainly the TakeTM of all time.
Comparing Hanzo's ult to one aspect of a single Kiri ability is whack. A comparison between Scatter Arrow and TP would be better.
An ability that functionally changed, but is still based on the original concept. It wouldn't even need to be renamed, since it's still just a TP.
She only TPs through walls twice in her cinematic anyways, with one of the TPs technically having LOS through the peep hole on the door.
Point is, she would still have TP as part of her kit and she would still have the Fox Spirit that guides her, which is more crucial to her identity than the ability to specifically TP through walls. Now removing the Fox Spirit or changing Kitsune rush to do something completely different would be comparable to doing something like changing Hanzo's Ult.
All that said, Suzu is definitely the thing I'd look into changing first anyways. I just disagree with the arguments presented against changing TP.
I hate the leaver penalties A. bc this I don't want to have to deal with these toxic support players that scream at me for "feeding on cd" but now if i leave the game IM THE ONE THAT GETS BANNED and B. bc blizzard is either gonna see that people don't really leave anymore and be all "IT WORKED WE FIXED COMPE- I MEAN QUICK PLAY" or they'll see that people still leave often and be like "well ig we need to make it even more strict"
Kiriko's identity doesn't match her gameplay at all.
_"Where I come from, the foxes fight back."_
(Among other tough-talking voice lines.)
Meanwhile, what does she do in-game?
Throw kunai at a distance, then if any enemy gets within 50 meters of her, she wall climbs and/or teleports away.
Wow, so tough!
Funny how yhe character identity argument goes out the window when you don’t like the character. Hanzo, YOUR example, lost Scatter and his ability to one shot the average character.
Not that I think Kiri should have to have LOS but in the cinematic she DID in fact have LOS. She was looking through the peephole of the door, so maybe she can tp through glass and not all walls.
flats talking about removing the heros identity meanwhile hog got changed bastion got changed sombra SYM???????
Who gives a shit about Kiris “identity” the blizzard character developers couldn’t even get her age right (in comparison to hanzo and genji) let alone the fact that hanzo lost his scatter arrow that is arguably even more of his character than Kiri’s tp is.
Remove suzu from the game... or make it harder to use. Like, if u hit a suzu before rein ult, fine... but if u drop it AFTER it has conected... should not work.
6:30 cuz the game is the animated short no it’s a game and it should have some counter play if she’s out of position and can’t see her teammates she shouldn’t get a free out of jail card 🤡
Is this a repost?
Ngl, make kiri a 3 shot headshot and she immediately becomes better
Let swift step go through walls but remove the self cleanse. Make it like lifeweaver pull.
Also a pretty large part of the Sombra cinematic is her translocator that has been changed so i dont think thats a relevant argument for balance changes.
The Mauga short kinda retcons this, she places down a translocator early on but it gets destroyed, so she has to run and throw another to escape the falling ship like in her rework.
I’m not saying it would fix anything but they should definitely make tanks MUCH louder. This would instinctually draw focus to where the tanks are positioning. Sensory overload can be a good way to buff the basic presence of these heroes.
Guy in the TikTok says that Kiriko's weapon is too strong for the character with her kit, Flats, for whatever reason, starts actins like the guy was complaining about teleport. He wasn't, he just mentioned teleport among other thing. Again, he was complaining about the fact that Kiriko's WEAPON is too strong for the character who already can do a lot. She has too much, she doesn't need 2.5X crit modifier
idk if the character identity thing is a valid argument for this. Cause aren't a lot of heroes different from their cinematics now? Mei can't freeze with her gun anymore like she does in her cinematic, its literally how she saves herself. Sombra can't place the translocator somewhere and teleport back to it whenever etc. hanzo's scatter arrows doesnt work the same way they did in the cinematic anymore. Is it really so different to make a change to tp through walls as long as she can still tp?
The only two characters who's identities have changed are mercy and sym
I will never understand the people flaming in quick play
It's nothing on the level of flaming tanks, but I was playing QP and was playing Winton. The enemy team went Reaper/Torb. After getting focused for about 5 minutes not able to get kills, I had a Genji just type "winston swap". They then proceeded to pop blade, get nano'd, and then instantly died because they tried to win a 1v5. Didn't even get a kill.
Ik it's not as toxic as going afk to flame, but I found it funny nonetheless
Ouuuuu more TikTok brainrot
