Yuqi is from a top school in Beijing. I think she's just really talented in languages (among thousands of other talents). She's also constantly praised by native Korean people on how fluent her Korean is.
Yeah her voice does blend very well in harmonies. She adds in that bass and "spaciousness" - usually very lacking in Kpop girlgroups which are filled with high bright tones. Yuqi makes Gidle's songs sound so full and easy on the ears. I don't know about others, but my ears often get tired after listening girlgroups' songs for a period of time. That doesn't apply to Gidle songs. Gidle is filled with spacious, layered voices that are very soothing and addicting. Yuqi's deep warm voice + Miyeon's medium solid voice + Minnie's high airy voice = Main Vocal Trio Made in Heaven. p.s. I don't care about official group positions. Bonnie & Clyde proves that Yuqi's beyond main vocal material. She's got nothing left to prove to anyone.
Dreamcatcher, LOONA, and ITZY are others who don't necessarily go for the normal kpop gg vocals. If you haven't checked them out, they're definitely worth a listen!

So same letters, the pronounciation is a little different from each other. But Japanese case, they also have Kanji names but the reading way of the name is totally different. They have their own way of reading.
Anyway I'm curious about your(American's) feeling when you first heard the title 'Bonnie and Cylde' . I had translated some English novels to Korean. So I heard the names as with criminal and murder case. So, I don't like the title of Yuki song. Yuki is very pure and pretty and innocent, but the song title is the names of murderers. I can remind Jack the Ripper case same as to Bonnie and Clyde. What do you thing of that?
