Idk if scent split samples smell accurate but my Gisada Ambassador smells like straight wood. It doesnt smell "tropical" like it was described. Is that normal to someone who has an actual bottle?

I really enjoyed this video. Thanks, Mel. I agree what you said about Initio Paragon. It's a Top-3 fragrance in my collection. As far as a unique signature-worthy fragrance I would recommend, it would be Nishane Safran Colognise. It's a warmer weather (spring/fall/summer nights) leather/saffron with a "new glossy magazine" accord on a clean musky base. It's inoffensive but very unique, so it must be sampled first. Gives off a "cool, mysterious dude dressed in black" vibe. Criminally under-rated, which makes it/you standout. Thanks again for the male-focused video. -- CJ --

I have Renaissance, got a sample of Alexandria II today but didn't smell it yet. Halfeti Leather should arrive soon. Ani is on my list, have 1ml sample left, but not the first one on the list. I have ordered some City Rhythm fragrances for trial with coconut and lemon scent that reviewers say are very good let's see. Paragon was kind of special but too much in one direction. Will try Grand Soir and Oajan the ingredients seem great. You have good taste. Have a good life!

Hi again and thanks. I got the City Rhythm fragrances today. I ordered 10 ml of Miami, Tropical Confessions, Tempo, Manhattan and St. John and I like them all, I’m really surprised. They make me kinda feel good, really strange, but I do think that I’ll have to let 2 or 3 of them mancerate a little as the smell isn’t as strong as of the others. Now it’s only my opinion but wow really didn’t expect that I would like all of them. I also got samples from Athena Fragrances this week and my favorite so far is Shams Dubai but it needs more testing. I think they are doing a good job too and if you don’t know them they are definitely worth checking out. Anyways all the best!

Grand Soir, Oud Satin Mood and Initio Addictive vibration are my favourite scents of all time ❤ I have a hard time using any of my other fragrances.

This is a really good list, however I have to disagree about Layton being a good signature scent. Where I live, a lot of people would find it to be much too sweet and too loud for certain situations.

Have them all except the Penhalagan and the Kajal. Don’t have Initio Paragon, wasn’t impressed by it. Love the list though, I’m going to look into the Penhalagon Halfeti, I think there is another fragrance that smells quite similar and is much cheaper if I’m not mistaken, can’t think of it right now.

"Oud Malaki" from Copard I think is the fragrance that people say smells like Halfeti. Didn't try it though yet.
I've been working through my Nishane discovery set and I really love Ani, but I'm hesitant to but it before I try Ani X which I don't have a sample of. Any tjoughts on Ami X?
It's a fresh take on original Ani. From the opening you get citruses and vanila, it feels like a lighter or fresher type of vanila (compared to OG Ani) because of citruses. Its still nice and sensual vanila like the OG. In my opinion, original Ani is more spicy and it feels like its a fuller version of Ani x. Ani x is missing something interesting in it that would keep me coming back to sniff it again. If i have to rate them - OG Ani 8.75, Ani X 6.75. Also of you care about performance OG Ani lasts more on my skin. I still suggest you to try if you can, you might like Ani x more. I love OG Ani more 😄.
@dzoniwot1096 Thanks! Og Ani sounds more like my cup of tea. I think I'll jist pull the trigger on it. I'll probably try X one day, but I'm already overwhelmed with too many samples. I need to stop testing so many and just settle into some that I love for awhile.
Hey my dear Joel, the X version, is a lot fruitier, lighter, creamier and less spicy, not that green as the original too.
In the opening it is very juicy, I get a lot of fruitiness and citruses, it smells almost like a Pineapple juice to me, I love it. Then you get a creamy, sweet, Vanilla with Sandalwood just like the original.
In my opinion the X version is easier to wear day to day, and it is amazing in the Summer too. ❤️

Grand soir is very feminine
It’s unisex, goes well for both. On men it’s more smoky, on women it goes a bit smoother imo. But definitely won’t say it’s that feminine😊
