My tribe was gonna tame a titan so I farmed out 3 cannons and about 80 cannon balls then put them on the quetz and later that night the quetz starved to death 😀

I tamed my rock elemental but I can’t find the saddle in the blue prints ,it’s was suppose to be on level 70 but it’s not there , does anyone knows if it’s because I’m on ragnarok or if the the blueprint is in a dlc or something ?
how do you put walls under neath the saddle?

I am a solo player. And I use your idea here in this video to solo tame a level 108 Rock elemental. I had a low level Rock elemental. I tamed at level 13. with a rocket launcher and using a mountain bluff to keep me from getting hit. My elemental is level 65 now. I used him as a tank. I put him in a place so he get hit and gave me time to get the shots off with a cannon to knock out a 108 Rock elemental. It worked so good and even solo. Thank you for the idea about the gate and the cannon mount on a Paracer.

I was in scorched earth looking for my stuff ,when a rock turned into an elemental me and my friends died. Then our little tribe member ran up to it pressed triangle and tamed it instantly ....then he lost it when he made it disguise itself as a rock ,meh

So I just tried this and the thing threw a boulder and broke my cannon
The method i used is much more effective. It requires you setup a permanent cannon in the mountains but since golems mostly spawn there you'll always have more to tame. You need 1 cannon and 1 metal pillar. First you explore the sides of the mountain to find a steep hill that you're able to run up and down. Walk a golem over to the hill and run up and away, the golem will get stuck at the bottom. Next you place the pillar a little bit below the golems head height place the cannon on top of the pillar aim the cannon and you're all set. Walk the golem back over and fire the first shot. The golem is now stuck in the perfect position not able to do anything but throw rocks. The golem ai throws rock in a fairly easy to read pattern. Every time it throws a rock simply run up the hill and itll miss. You can even bait the golem to throw a rock by walking down then back up. And every time it throws a rock you have a good 5-10 seconds to load a cannon ball and fire the perfect shot. You'll never miss a shot if you do this method correctly, it requires minimal setup and once its setup for one golem you can reuse it indefinitely.

This video is nonsense for the resources and tamed paracer it suggests are required. Find a narrow area. Place 3 to 4 adobe pillars. Kite the Rock Elemental in. When you leave it will turn into a rock. Nearby place adobe foundation with a Cannon and a box to place extra cannonballs inside. Ensure your cannon is aimed between two of the abode pillars. Aggro the elemental. If lucky it will be stuck immobile in the pillars and you can shoot it. If not lucky just leave and come back to kite it back behind the adobe pillars. Retry to get it aggro'd on you if you're unlucky. Shoot it with the cannon to knock it out. Have a few hundred sulfur on hand for taming.
A BIG word of warning to anyone who tries this IT DOESNT WORK your cannon destroys ur trap and then ur fucked I lost every thing I had cus it followed me back to base and it destroyed and killed everything
Dang this is a gr8 way to tame. I didn't have to die millions of times and lose COUNTLESS rocket launchers. That's a sub for nooblets

So I thought he said penis horse but I’m a nub at ark so I kind of thought he said peilasour (something like that) but after looking at the comment section it’s penis horse
On the server im on 480 is the max dino level dododex says that it will die guaranteed if i try to tame it but what if i shoot it 20 times of 30 come back 5 hours later shoot him till hes knocked out or is that not an option as the torpor timer is over like 20 hours so being effective and lucky might be possible theres nothing saying anything on this anywhere so idk if im wasting my time
I got a low level Rock elemental. with a rocket launcher and got up on a bluff. I time my shot like you after he throws the rock. But All I need to do was step back as he missed move up take my shot. and repeat. Work nice. But yes rockets take a lot of stuff to make and it take a lot of them to pull it off.

Future Nooblets comes up with a much better way to tame one solo, which I did for the first time a couple if weeks ago just to do it.
I can't get a rock elemental I'm shooting rockets at it's face and all that it's doing is talking damage dose anybody know why?

I tame 5 on an average weekend and i do it way easier. All you need is griffin and quetz. No need to wast mats on a trap

For me it’s a two man job. Thing is I play on a non dedicated and on SE. I jump off into the Scar and die. I have my base bed ready so when he gets a wyvern egg he tells me and I tp back to base.
How do u make them tameable by the tribe instead of the specific guy in the tribe?

I say the easiest way to tame a rock elemental is to playersonly then do tame to make it look ligit

hey i was trying to tame a rock elemental and i was clearly hitting its head and it wasent registering as a head hit. im doing this on my own server. just friends. is it a setting or something? or is it a glitch? it would mean so much if you answered

Structures do not block rock throw. The stone walls on back of horse won't stop the rocks. You need to use natural terrain to block the throw. You can do that easily with horse, as the target point for rock throw is lower down than cannon. Park horse behind a low rock, cannon fires over top, rock throw impacts on rock.
Using rocket launcher IS a lot more expensive than reusing the same cannon to tame many golems. Though launcher is easier to use, and more versatile.

Please try this trolling Defense Joke out Tame 3 High level Rock elementals lvl them up to max mine all the large rocks around your base and set them to aggressive after you have them take their rock form and try to record the next time you get raided and watch the golems go to town on the raiders
