I got a 2 quint bundle with Bronze Ecstasy and Lunar Nightshade and I LOVE both of them. Why get a mothership when you can get these?? I guess Pat's strategy for bringing in new customers with more affordable options is working. It did for me anyways!
I love the color curation and formulas in the quints this year so much! Especially the satin/matte formulas (Midnight Iris, Twilight Taupe, etc)… They just feel so refreshing & sophisticated to me in the sea of I Need a Nudes and Sunlit Seductions recently

Yep this screams bridgerton and given the past collabs someone on the team must have said ‘gee, this new Christmas palette looks very Bridgerton inspired, maybe we should change it a bit to make it clear that it’s not recycled packaging’. The money you pay vs how bad this packaging is (in terms of the flimsy cardboard with a mirror held up with fabric) means that there’s nothing anyone can say for me to buy this. Especially at full price.
I don’t appreciate either of those brands now. Super overpriced. I liked Pat in the beginning. But I never even wanted to own anything from ChT - it’s just brownish-pinkish-boring whatever for me for the price of a house.
@@polinatalmeltzer450that's why PMG's palettes are so stunning, unique color schemes, and amazing formulas, ya, the newer palettes aren't as good from quality as the Mothership palettes are, but they are still very high quality and still, a mix of very wearable and some more unique schemes, CT's formulas are also very good, the mattes I definitely like more than my PMG mattes, you just can't say it's not worth the price blablabla, it's not worth it for YOU, that's a personal thing, just saying......

Tbh, it feels like people are still raving about PM just because they used to when the quality was amazing. However, since then, quality dropped drastically and prices are unjustified. There are so many better quality products out there in the market with lower prices. People are still hoping Pat will bring her quality back, but it just isn't happening....

Jeweled Temptation looks pretty, but the colors reminded me of her original Star Wars 6 pan palettes, which I already have. Went with the other palette and I love the greens.
I might pick up the bigger palette with the green shimmers during the Sephora sale if it's still available.. it's beautiful!! Ya know, cause I totally need another eyeshadow palette 😆🤩
I really like the idea of the quints. I would have to use her primer to alleviate the fallout. I like the first neutral one for travel, Bronze Ecstasy. I use my Mothership Subliminal palette, quite often. However, that particular palette is not travel friendly.
The quints last year were amazing, more like indie brands. I am going to get the quints this year only because of the formula and the travel convenience ❤
I personally was not excited about anything and I’m glad I waited for reviews. Based on the reviews I’ve seen, they’re really nothing like any of my MP or any of the quads she released a few yrs ago. Thank you for the review 😊
FYI, Desert Amber is not from the permanent collection. Both palettes have one new and one already existing shade ;) And also all the trios have new blushes as well.
That's because they're pronouncing it wrong. Morgan is very clearly saying boujie(boo-gee) short for Bourgeoisie . instead of Bijioux (Bee-joo). They're two different words.

To be honest i think that PMG lost their luxury brand vibes. They are releasing so much, that its overwhelming. Like you said, we dont need 10+ pieces collection for xmas. I think it would be better to have a few 5pan palettes and face trios. Anither thing is that they are non consistent with the formula. I got the blush +1highlighter palette last year because I planned to get their blush for a Long time and it made sense to try a few of them. I wanted to love it, but I dont reach for it. The more colorful blushes Look patchy on my super fair skin, highlighter is also too dark.

20:26 the green look is what I literally wore everyday for like a year when I first starting getting into makeup and didn’t know how to do anything else. I used California Love from Colourpop for the mattes and then the greens from Fade into Hue from Colourpop. Obviously my blending wasn’t like your but it had the same vibes.

I'm so drawn to the greens but so much similar to me in the rest of the palette I'm looking at the Sunset Romance and it reminds me of the previous quad whatever the name was, I probably hold on to Nightshade despite it being a smidge to cool for me, I wish she'd make this color range but in warm, I'd love to see more true brown, grey and purple in warm Thanks for the review, I too would pick up the big palette for the greens, and blushes.
Quint formulas worked well for me with the intensifies wand or nix glitter glue, haven’t tried yet with her primer. I have deeper skin tone and find the darker big palette too redundant with everything else I own from Pat. The quints are my favorite by far. Starstuck splendor with the greens were worth it to me😊
I had the same thought about the big deep palette. This one's just her normal, kinda boring colour story we've seen so often before. I think she also kept it pretty safe with the lighter one, but at least it had a couple pops of color. But the blushes wouldn't work for me. I'd rather get a 5-pan and a single blush. I wait and see, if they'll be available in Germany because we don't get everything of hers unfortunately.

I've been waiting for your review of this!! Im sorry you didnt get the bordeaux bliss, that and lunar nightshade were the one I was considering. I still might go into Sephora and swatch them. I dont think I'll get the bronze blush trio. Just for the fact that the Hourglass Holiday exist and I want one those pallets!!! I had a theory about this collection. I left it on another creators video. I don’t think that this was supposed to be her actual holiday collection. Because of the writers strike and shows having issues with new seasons, I think this indeed was her next bridgerton collection but she needed to push it out, potentially for expiration dates. So that kind of sucks but I got the bronze ecstasy quint and I love it 🤷🏻♀️
I ordered mine the day of launch still hasn’t shipped. Never have I experienced this slow of service before. I’m tempted to cancel the order maybe it’s a sign I don’t need it. 😅😅😅
I ordered the 2 large palettes and 2 of the 5 pans and I got my order today and I received all 4 of the 5 pans. The PM team must have been extremely busy to make all these mistakes but I'm not complaining cuz I made out for the for the good. Sorry for your inconvenience!

Your lucky. I ordered mine on launch day and it hasn’t even shipped yet!! I got all the eyeshadows and one of the cheek trios. It says on the website that the blush and highlight shades are new and the bronzer isn’t in the trios so that better be true because that is why I got it.
It looks like it was gonna be a Bridgerton x pat McGrath round 3 but the series got delayed and mother could not hold on any longer the release of the collection

I really wanted to order one of the 5 pans and 1 face pallet, but I bought my first pallet from her and was so disappointed. Also there's been alot of cool pallets coming out, and these didn't compete.

Totally agree! Pat is just simply overpriced at this point, with “luxury” totally gone.

Wish they included one blush and one bronzer in the larger palette instead. I prefer “all in one” palettes.

The bridgerton eyeshadow pallets have Blitz astral special shades from Pat Mcgrath, actually on those where the last time she use the baked formula

I've been waiting for your review of this!! Im sorry you didnt get the bordeaux bliss, that and lunar nightshade were the one I was considering. I still might go into Sephora and swatch them. I dont think I'll get the bronze blush trio. Just for the fact that the Hourglass Holiday exist and I want one those pallets!!! But thank you for reviewing the lunar nightshade and sacrificing your eyes!
I had a theory about this collection. I left it on another creators video. I don’t think that this was supposed to be her actual holiday collection. Because of the writers strike and shows having issues with new seasons, I think this indeed was her next bridgerton collection but she needed to push it out, potentially for expiration dates. So that kind of sucks but I got the bronze ecstasy quint and I love it 🤷🏻♀️
This is a pass for me. I love Covergirl's Clean Fresh Clean Eyeshadow Palette and I would love to see looks using this palette

I ordered mine the day of launch still hasn’t shipped. Never have I experienced this slow of service before. I’m tempted to cancel the order maybe it’s a sign I don’t need it. 😅😅😅

I ordered the 2 large palettes and 2 of the 5 pans and I got my order today and I received all 4 of the 5 pans. The PM team must have been extremely busy to make all these mistakes but I'm not complaining cuz I made out for the for the good. Sorry for your inconvenience!
I love Pat McGrath makeup but her shipping team is awful. I cross my fingers every time I place an order.

@@christyshipley2309 OMG. That’s a good reason not to purchase directly from PMG. I get suckered in to the hype around the launch and what I should be doing is waiting for the Sephora launch. The shipping is better and Sephora has never (knock on wood) messed up my order.
Your lucky. I ordered mine on launch day and it hasn’t even shipped yet!! I got all the eyeshadows and one of the cheek trios. It says on the website that the blush and highlight shades are new and the bronzer isn’t in the trios so that better be true because that is why I got it.

I really wanted to order one of the 5 pans and 1 face pallet, but I bought my first pallet from her and was so disappointed. Also there's been alot of cool pallets coming out, and these didn't compete.
