- Diddy’s former bodyguard Roger Bonds is leveling some bombshell new allegations, claiming he saw the rapper “get really physical with” ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and the late Kim Porter. Plus, makeup artist Mylah Morales, Cassie’s former friend who worked with both the singer and Diddy, tells “Extra’s” Carlos Greer that she feared for Cassie’s safety and her own. She recounted an incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel one Grammy weekend more than a decade ago. We reached out to both Diddy and Cassie’s teams for comment but did not receive a response by our deadline.

Worked with DV victims, no amount of resources law enforcement can force someone to leave their partner, until they're ready or killed. It's very complicated.
I wouldn't say Cassie is a victim of domestic violence because that's for people who consent to be in a relationship. It seems like she was held hostage in plain sight under numerous guises. And in a lot of domestic violence cases the perpetrator usually has something tying their victim down especially if they are powerful and gave the unlimited ability to cause you a world of harm.
If you watched the hotel video, then you know Cassie DID try to leave.

And nobody consents to abuse, however, there are people who stay in a relationship despite being abused, men and women. They would be more afraid of people's perception, self esteem and attachment issues but the most common one is when they are too dependent on their abuser.
