There is something very magical about this performance and I point it out to all reviewers that watch this video. First off, Mackie's voice had already started changing and that is why you are hearing a crack. The crack is the only part of his voice changing that we would ever hear. He somehow always held it together other than the crack (the crack drove him crazy though). It is also important to point out that this was the world premiere of their first single was was performed the night before they kicked off the north American leg of their world tour in Los Angeles. They flew into L.A. that morning and Mackie was going off of very little sleep. When they took off from Mania the day before their flight took off around six hours late because there was a pretty big earthquake that occurred while they were at the airport waiting for their flight. Everyone in their party was okay but the airport did suffer quite a bit of damage and parts of ceilings collapsed around them when the earthquake occurred. The end result of this was that they got in the air way behind schedule and Mackie's nerves were shot. While Francis and Kiefer had no problem falling asleep on the plane, Mackie was still too on edge to sleep. So the time finally arrives for them to perform their new single live of the Wish Bus on Hollywood Blvd. right outside of the Hollywood and Highland complex and I was one of the people there for that. Right away it was obvious to me that Mackie was a ball of nerves. I am sure he was nervous because he was unsure of his voice but I had also been clued in about how the earthquake had affected him and it was pretty obvious that that was also contributing to an uncharacteristic case of pre-performance nerves (Kiefer is the one with bad stage fright not usually Mackie). The song (as you may have already figured out) was inspired by and written about their great bond/friendship that developed after suddenly being thrown together as a trio. It is all about how they always have each others backs and how together they can accomplish anything. What makes this performance so magical is that there is a real life moment that captures that right near the start of the song. The headphones that they use on the U.S.A. Wish Bus are the Audio Technica ATH-M50x studio monitors. They are very capable studio monitors with one flaw...they fold at the slightest opportunity to fold. I am not sure if Mackie had ever used Audio Technica headphones before or if the case of bad nerves had gotten to him but when he slipped the left ear piece off of his left ear near the start of the song and let it rest behind his ear he placed it dangerously too far back on his head for Audio Technica headphones. I saw that the ear piece was too far back and knew that something bad was about to happen. Sure enough, the ear piece slipped back and the headphones were folding up before he even realized what was going on. The timing could not have been worse. This was happening at a point in the song where he was supposed to be singing the lines. Luckily Kiefer saw what was happening and knew that Mackie had lost all reference to where they were in the song and without hesitating sang Mackie's next line which was "Lift each other up". Mackie smiled at Kiefer and the song continued without further incident and nobody was the wiser except for a few of us. It was so magical though because Kiefer was singing exactly what he was doing at that moment. He was lifting Mackie up. Incredibly inspirational.
Good day, Sir !!! Nice to see you back. Francis is greatly amazing !!! He gives me smiles. He gives me laughs. He pumps my heart. I love him so much !!! I love them all !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
They have another version of their original single performed on wish107.5 Reactors who watched this performance said Mackie surprised them and watched that part again.
This song is about them. How they become a group and built a friendship and brotherly feelings as they grow and fly together and help, protect each other. That's how I look at it and I think many of their supporters think the same. Such inspiration they gave to me. "Lift each other up, we'll do it together and together we fly"
Macky is in his puberty hood, that's why you hearing him cracking! Even himself he can't accept that his voice is changing now he don't even go out of his house bcoz his voice was changing now? His 15 y/o now
Please check Keifer Sanchez, one of theTNT Boys with long hair, his new solo cover of Paubaya by Moira dela Torre at Wishbus 107.5. The TNT Boys are still a group but each of them are also doing solos bcoz of this pandemic. You will be surprised with his new matured voice now. He is still in puberty transition but his voice is already awesome
These kids were pushed into stardom so young. Look at Silent Night ... They were babies. This is not healthy for children. They likely feel obligated to be breadwinners for their families. This particular video sounds highly produced. They are talented boys, but this is not live
Miss you TNT boys🥰🇵🇭🇵🇭

Voice crack? He’s going thru puberty at that time as he said in an interview he’s afraid his voice will crack.
That’s not what he meant. The equivalent of crack is the cry, just like what Morissette does. Beautiful technique, as a matter of fact. 😀
Bekle nemen te yewe
