This was the first Broadway show I saw as an adult and it was transformative. My wife and I liked it so much that it was also the second Broadway show that I saw as an adult.
Look for small theatre productions or in college towns. I just saw it this past Friday in Bloomington Indiana and it was just as incredible as when I saw it with Darren Criss on Broadway
Shit, that scene of Hedwig walking away into the vastness gets me everytime, no matter who plays her. Im really fucking emotional. Also Lena's VOICE,👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
I saw this live at the Belasco and I never thought I'd get to see it again. I sobbed upon seeing that it exists. This was a truly special moment seeing NPH as Hedwig. Thank you for letting me see it again.
I fast fortunate to see it life too, and even though I'm a huge fan of NPH,I had to remind myself that it was him on that stage at the end. He was so good, I literally forgot it was him playing Hedwig. I was completely lost in the musical.
I too saw this at the Belasco Theater in NYC, and the show was unbelievable. NPH is amazing, but let us not forget the AMAZING performance of Lena Hall. I get tears to this day when she steps on stage in hall her "Drag Queen" glory!! NPH's banter with the audience and the other performers all night had me in stitches!
He sounds so good!! Wow this is something only a real professional can do other than the creator of the music. Doogie kicked this musicals ass!! And he will always be Doogie to me. That was burned in my brain. I loved that show. I was totally jealous of his computer at the end of every episode. He’s also in crazy shape here. Wow! Mr. Burtka had a awesome time during this I’m sure. Wow those tight shorts. I’d love to been able to see the package in the front. Then again I think NPH prob stays in shape but gosh was he buffed out here. First time seeing him do this. I’m glad he was awesome!
This was good but I wish he could have put more emotion into theatrics of it. Not saying he wasnt good but definitely my least favorite hedwig. Darren criss and lena hall as hedwig were heart stopping. Going to see James Cameron Mitchell (THEE Hedwig) as hedwig in Feb. and I know I'm going to cry. Guys check out the origin of love tour going around right now for a chance you dont wanna miss.
His Hedwig was kinda like HIS, he made it for himself, all the expressions and acting on the songs, he made it so different from JCM, it doesnt mean is bad, JCM is the best we know that, but I think NPH is the second man after him, his Hedwig was fun, heartwarming and the most spiritual one
yup, we know JCM will always be the best Hedwig, gives me goosebumps every time, but NPH is definitely the next in line for best Hedwig, he's really damn good👌🏽👌🏽

I agree it's my dream to see this show on Broadway

I saw the Turkish version live and it definitely was one of the best experiences in my life. My dream is to play Hedwig someday.

You must. Even if it's a tiny theatre in the middle of nowhere. This is one of the greatest shows I've ever seen.
I’m weeping and singing along. This is one of my favorite musicals of all time.
Shannon Conder Never make it through this song without crying.
Listen to Rock N' Roll Suicide by Bowie, definitely reminds me
