Thanks man 🙏That solo part is nuts!!! The thing that really helped me get it was to always start the phrase with the same finger. By doing this, it sets you up for the entire phrase - 1st finger to fret the 7th fret on the 3rd string. Hope that helps🤜🤛🤘
Geezer and Bill were such a godly rhythm section. They were punishingly heavy, but there was almost always a jazzy swing to the rhythms that helped to elevate the riffs and make the songs more memorable. They also knew when to throw in interesting fills and accents, and when to just lay in to the riff and give the guitars and vocals a titanium foundation. Geezer's bass work in the solo sections is almost always as interesting and memorable as Tony's guitar work. One of those bands where every member made their music as incredible and legendary, and they wouldn't have been nearly as good with anybody else taking their place. (With all due respect to legends like Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice who also helped make incredible music during their time in Sabbath.)
Dude, I just bought bass literally 3 day's ago, and when I stumbled upon your channel, I knew I hit the green! Bass player, and exact same taste in music. When I get the basic done, I'll be sure I'll start learning from you. Thanks for your work!
That’s awesome!!! Definitely try out Electric Funeral - it’s beginner friendly and is really fun to play🤘How To Play Electric Funeral by Black Sabbath [Bass Lesson + TAB] th-cam.com/video/AeBIOUYnLUI/w-d-xo.html
Jared you are the worthy teacher of Doom Bass. I've met Geezer and he's a very friendly guy who inspires good attitude and talked with me like a friend. Much like yourself. Your lessons are clear and insightful. You also have the perfect Doom smile on your Sweet leaf video picture. Carry on Bass Bro!!
Fantastic lessons! It would be great if you broke down a lesson on Free's Mr Big the solo by Andy Fraser is fantastic and I feel you would do it justice.
Great question! Anytime you see an “x” it means to play a muted note on whichever string(s) the “x” is written. Doing this gives a rhythmic effect without playing an actual note🤘

Like #420! Holy shit, dude, you're a magician.
Awesome!!! Glad you dig it🤘
Fucking Awesome!!! What strings and gauges do you use for c#?
Great question! I use Black Harbor Roundwound “Heavies” (55-120)🤘
I’m pretty new to bass tabs and I have no idea what the “X”s mean
Great question! Anytime you see an “x” it means to play a muted note on whichever string(s) the “x” is written. Doing this gives a rhythmic effect without playing an actual note🤘
🤟🤟🤟🤟👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome!!! Such a great song🤘
Something doesn't feel right about these tabs or is it me???
Anything in particular?
Why do you need to go into c# standard? You don't go below the third fret (the note that would normally be open e in e standard).
Good question! Should work in E-Standard - I used C#-Standard to match Geezer’s tuning used on the song/album🤘
No du du du
Home come?
