Completely agree with her viewpoint about working from 9-5. Stability isn't overrated; only when one aspect of life is stable, can you focus other aspects in doing the things you enjoy which don't classify as work.

People don’t realize how valuable it is to have someone this honest. It’s easy to not be aware how we come off to others so to have someone be brutally honest as she is IMO is useful for learning, growing and raising your self awareness. Great video!
Agreed. I thought she was so brutally honest that it shocked me but in a good way. That’s why im in the comments to see if others felt the same way.
Now i also think that he’s only hearing this because of the video and that’s the game… Like, she made it very clear that he’s rude. Like RUDE RUDE but it’s when he’s the RUDEST that she hates it the most right? And he was surprised.
What i’m trying to say is that she’s honest and telling him now because she can but in their everyday life he doesn’t seem to listen or pay attention to the way he treats other people.

She has a good Level on Emotional intelligence and She is so down to earth and honest. He is lucky to have someone like her who is so honest and caring You can literally grow more when you have someone this honest that can easily point out the not so good traits in your personality than you can work on it and can be a more good person.

Elizabeth needs to adopt sheen's brutal honesty for these Q&A's.
Yeah sheen had no hesitation at all and it was a breath of fresh air! Elizabeth was so hesitant to answer and it was a lil bit uncomfy to watch
Eli understands not to risk Ali's brand, professionalism sometimes overpower authenticity, even if that's a bad thing.
I think it's because they have an employee and employer relationship while sheen is just Ali's friend and she couldn't care less
@@MarchAngeloPAlino yes but for example in the case of when she said Ali is rude sometimes, Ali directly asked in which way was he was rude. Since he was the one asking she cud have answered it easily. Also if it harms his brand in any way, those can be edited out easily.
This is uncomfortably awkward not funny awkward. The opening question she looked so scared to speak. I don't like Ali as much now knowing he's grossly rude to people.
Having a conversation with him seems like having a conversation with a wall. I respect this woman for keeping it cool.
Elizabeth is quite intelligent, funny and has good sense of conveying things without making Ali feel bad. She understands him at emotional level and has a high EQ that's why she was able to empathize with the ladies who mailed for marriage prospects! Gem.
I love her response to the 9-5 question. The romanticization of entrepreneurship nowadays is kind of annoying. Its not for everyone and it takes way more work, hours and willpower for people who work to just make ends meet.
yep! i work as an assistant for one, and they are balancing it with their regular job - no time for literally anything! it's not for the faint hearted!

18:00 I get what she's saying. She's saying that we romanticise not having the 9-5 think it will be beaches and cocktails when the reality is we will do double or triple the amount of work. For example someone with a family might not have the ability to do that and be better suited to the 9-5.

I hate that question with a passion! “ You’re single with no wife, are you gay?” A lot of people are waiting until later or a choosing to live alternative lifestyles instead of going the traditional path.

Yeah that's why I love her when she's addressing the things she doesn't like about him talking directly to him instead of talking to people in camera because it's like backstabbing. I like how she tries to communicate with him in a respectful way.
A lot of highly educated, ambitious and driven people have a big ego. They don’t realise that there are aspects to their personality that negatively affect other people OR just don’t care.
Ali please listen carefully to everything Elizabeth said. It’s a rarity that someone will be so brutally honest but if you take her points on board it will help you a lot in life especially when dealing with people.
In his situation I think have a big ego is one of the most advantages to surviving in med school.

I’m trying to decipher if Ali is joking when he makes some of these comments or if he’s genuinely this way? He comes off a bit full of himself, but I can’t tell if that’s part of a comedic act? Strange, because I like him a lot in the beginning where he seemed so kind and approachable. Either way, I appreciate the honest editing.

He has a healthy self esteem. He is a good looking intelligent guy. A doctor, a top TH-camr and a rich man. Maybe he would be more likeble if he would be humble, but I'm afraid that would be fake from him, so I prefer his straightforward style.
I think it’s difficult to judge someone we’ve never met. Personally, I prefer his straightforward, honest and open style. I don’t think he’s arrogant, but confident, and we shouldn’t knock people being confident.

I really liked Elizabeth's answer about the 9-5. Not everyone hates their jobs and not everyone that does should just leave it. There are so many things you can do that will make you feel happier about your work even if it's a 9-5.
The comments under this video could be used to write an essay on parasocial interactions and how social media and TH-cam make people think that they know someone, have full access to this person and have the right to impose their sense of morality onto them. Our society has become bizarre.

True, although no one is perfect and at least he isn't claiming to be the nicest person in the united kingdom. There are so many other influencers that would censor anything that makes them look less than awesome and then build a toxic cult following around them. Him not doing that shows that he is self aware and is hopefully working on it. He is letting us see that he is human and has shortcomings in his character.

He’s high in the trait disagreeableness. I’ve been a fan of him for a long time and this is how he is. I don’t think he wants to hurt anyone’s feelings. Not everyone has to be super warm and nice and agreeable and smily all the time - that’s exhausting.

You have to be objective. Don’t mistake that for no emotions. But it is true that emotional intelligence is very important.

I don't think he has become, I think he always was like that, he is lacking emotional and social intelligence and it's obvious. You can train yourself to a certain point but if it's not given it's not given. He is mindful and he declared many times that he tries to work on this also he notices how other people like Sheen or Elizabeth can connect on an emotional level with others.
Nah may be more mentally occupied and overwhelmed with work.

I love the way Ali gets slightly uncomfortable while Elizabeth opened the Pandora's box of Ali's "reckless side", and how he is not the best boss. But I think Ali can and will take it in a positive way and might work on the things that Elizabeth mentioned. Brilliant video- as we get to see a different side of Ali altogether.

14:56 totally agree with you on that one Ali. 18:05 is also correct, I know ppl who had businesses that made lots of money and didn’t want to be a boss anymore and spend more time with family. Just different priorities
