Beautiful, just make sure it stays up there! One year when I was stationed in Goldsboro we got 4+ inches, I had 4 wheel drive on my truck and spent the whole day pulling people out of ditches, Made a boat load of money, I was by far the cheapest in town.

Everything is shut down so holiday it is. All of this will be gone by Saturday as the temps going back to normal (sunny & 60's).

Enough for a video and some pictures! I left my lighted balls in my trees and turned them on for all this snow, looked magical at night!

I'm working (hooray for cloud careers) but we got double that in Greensboro. Everything is closed of course. We've not even cleaned off the cars yet (subarus, we're both from up north too). I know I'm ready to go back to the beach and be warm and in the sun, even if I don't get a solid beep the whole time I'm walking. :) Stay safe and warm!

Yes it's beautiful but after a month or two not so much. Up north here I video the tracks on the sledding hills to see how far the sleds go and where they wipe out the most. Besides diving sledding hills are second for gold rings. Enjoy the snow Basia I hope it melts fast so you can get back on the beach gold!

Hi, I used to live up north and there was snow that fell and stayed. Down here in NC we don't get much, 1 inch of snow shuts down schools! This snow was pretty and melted in 2 days!

Hi Catherine, this is not "normal winter" here in NC. When we get a pretty snow like this we certainly enjoy it. Neighborhood kids out sledding and having a blast. Good thing the snow will not last long, should be gone in a day or two and then back to normal, 50's & 60's! That's the way I like it!

Basia Today it is warming up to the 40’s this week with rain later. It will ice up again but hopefully most of the snow will be gone. I love the wonderland look but not the bitter cold or the dirty slush.
