    They have a stage presence many legacy bands would envy. I saw many of those legacy bands back in the day, but The Warning is the best live band I’ve ever experienced!

    Pau is a 5 foot tall stick of dynamite ! She runs on a treadmill and sings to build up her stamina and be able to sing and play without her voice wavering. They post a lot on social media and most of the post are on YT. And post after how Vidios from a lot of their shows. Also there is a great interview ( the best) of them on the Allison Hagendorf YT channel that will give you a ton of insight into these amazing ladies.

    "23" is a song that Pau sings as lead which is beautiful and emotional. Dany and Pau are always harmonizing with each other. Bang out the live reactions! There is a 10-year history of this group on TH-cam from 2014, when Ale was 9. If you want to do a quick catch up, Tidal Rising and Mayday in the Making (1-6) will give you lots of info until about 2021. They have just released a 10-year anniversary video which supplements the other 2. There are vlogs, aftermovies, Dany Day, Pau Day and Ale Day videos which show the girls very young through this year's tour. It's a deep rabbit hole. They are great women from a great family and there are many different ways to experience that. Take your pick, but, definitely react to all the songs at the Teatro Metropolitan concert.

    This song has more punch live. Having said that, the music video for this is phenomenally well done. The primary lead vocalist is definitely Dany, but Pau sings often as well. Ale doesn't like singing lead, though she has done it on occasion and those events are considered unicorn moments by fans. Usually its because Dany or Pau are resting their voices. Ale does contribute backing vocals, harmonies, and an occasional lead line sung in lower range beneath Dany singing the higher register. Their music may be structurally simple but they put a lot of layers into the composition, adding it details, like Pau rarely playing the same drum fill twice, or Ale varying the bass line and progressions from one verse to the next. Dany uses distinct guitar sounds on their studio work and sometimes in a live performance, there will be a guitar sound on the backing track. Also, Ale helps cover for the absence of a rhythm guitar. And their songs of often designed around the bass and drums carrying the song while Dany sings and adds in guitar flourishes under her vocals. They are extremely creative songwriters.

    Dany is the lead singer and does about 80% of the lead vocals. Pau does about 10% and the other 10% are songs were they trade off the lead as in Disciple. Ale technically does not do any lead on albums but will do the occasional lead in older songs if Dany is needing a vocal break. She also does a small lead line in Choke live since Dany can't sing the overdub lead from the album and more recently a new song that was debuted in Mexico called Hell You Called A Dream has Ale singing a line under Dany's soaring lead vocal that I am sure Dany does on the studio version again through the magic of overdubs. 💖✨🔥⚡🚀🤘🏽

Ale's bass literally shakes the venue, and your body feels the music. When the three sisters formed the band, being a power trio you have to solve the shortcomings of filling the spaces that they would not have if there were more members. In this process was fundamental their father who is a sound engineer and taught them from an early age to make "harmony" in their songs. This implies singing each one in different registers to make it much more pleasant or more powerful to be heard depending on the song. They also have in some songs pre-recorded melodies on guitars or keyboards that sound live. Also in their headphones they have a metronome that makes them go in tempo with the song. Note that their live songs hardly vary much in tempo from their recorded songs. This technology is also used by Band Maid or Lovebites among other bands, they differ from the old school rockers where the songs are faster than the ones they originally recorded. You should go see them live, they tour the US constantly. Great reaction, greetings from Argentina.

      Their father is an engineer, not a sound engineer. Neither of their parents are “musical”, although it is well documented that they are the most supportive parents imaginable. This has all been said many times in interviews. Please do not make things up. This is how misinformation snowballs on TH-cam.

    • @cissyiniguez
      @cissyiniguez 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@grahamechambers6642Actually Luis was an audio engineer. He even owned a studio, and has credits on some albums. You are correct about their parents not being "musical" and they may not know how to play a note on any instrument, but their father has always had a love for music so much so that he worked in the industry for a time.

  • @TinsleyLifeSkills-ye6fb
    @TinsleyLifeSkills-ye6fb 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    Regarding "lead singer". Simply put their old covers tend to focus on Dany as "lead" but that is simply because the song is from a time when the norm was to have an identified "lead singer" and was written that way. Also she is the oldest sister and she was the teenager singing with two pre-teens. BUT the Warning are recreating the "norm" and are quoted in a number of interviews that whatever they do as far as song construction is concerned is dictated by what the music itself demands. So sometimes one of them will be the virtual "lead"... depending on the song but generally speaking they sing like they perform... as a group and the song gets what it needs and the voice it needs at that time just the same as the instrument it needs at that time. Watching their documentaries, you will see them communicate as a group of sisters talking at the same time and finishing each others sentences etc... well, as I see it, they sort of perform the same way. The song gets what it needs and they do it all together and the result is a unique reworking of the sound.
    In short, don't worry about who is the lead... they don't! They just bring everything they have to the performance and give the song their "ALL"... literally!
    Nice Response/Reaction.
    Take Care
    David

    I love their music videos but they are so amazing live that I prefer seeing the live performances. I think their 2 and 3 part harmonies are killer and in many cases they use the vocal harmonies to fill out the sound. Live separates the wheat from the chaff. You can see what bands and singers can really do or how catastrophically they really fail. Studio is often more smoke than reality.
    The Warning is next to Nightwish an absolute live band. Bands that sound even better live than in the studio.

    • @mjc1389
      @mjc1389 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I like the way you phrased that about their live performances.
      To often when people make a similar comment it seems to imply that their OMV’s are something less than.
      We know that’s not the case as members of TWA and the band has numerous music videos they are admittedly proud of.

  • @legslark
    @legslark 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    Another great reaction! Dany sings the lead on most songs, while Pau sings lead now and then! Ale sings harmony except for a line in choke. Plus Ale will sing lead on certain songs when Dany is sick or her voice gets fatigued while touring!!!😊⚡️

  • @joetaptaco
    @joetaptaco 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

    Vocally, as a rule, Dany(guiterist) is the lead singer on most songs, though occasionally Ale(bassist) will fill in for her on certain songs when on tour. Pau(drummer) has 9 songs in their catalog of about 50 original songs, that she is the lead singer(not including Disciple and Sinister Smiles, which is about 50/50 with Dany). As far as harmony, though she has a deeper voice, often Pau adds her huskier tone above the melody Dany is singing, and Ale will sing harmony underneath it. In a few exceptions Ale will sing falsetto above the harmony. Needless to say, nothing happens on accident with this band, studio or live. Pau is a workhorse and perfectionist when it comes to songwriting and performing.

    Did you notice at 8:02, Pau doing a double bounce in her saddle, in sync with Ale's double bass slide? They choreograph many moves while playing. They enhance the performance for the audience. Ever since they did a 6 week summer program at Berkley School of Music in Boston when they were 15, 13, and 10yrs old, they started to become more theatric with their performances. They love to perform together, and they do it so well. Pau has become an animal at playing and singing, but they stagger back to back songs she sings in. Their setlist is well thought out. It is probably 70% Dany and 30% Pau on singing lead. Ale sings lead when needed, but is very content with being a back-up singer. We fans love her thick voice and hope she will do more, but it is her choice. Shockingly, Ale sings high falsetto parts in several of their songs. They are all amazing.

    Note that when they do a full on headlining show as at the Pepsi Centre in Mexico City or Lunario in Mexico City they may also have keys. They did not really stress that anywhere on the ERROR album but all three started by playing classical pieces on piano. Pau especially can really draw the emotion out of a crowd when she switches from drums to piano. Most of their songs have begun with Pau on piano and that is one reason the song structures have such continuity.

    As others have said, Dany is primary with Pau 20-30%. Ale doesn't really like singing lead but will do so if Dany is sick or needs a break, but usually only a song or so. And then they have several songs where Dany and Pau switch back and forth, like this one.

    There are a few videos where Ale the bass player is singing lead. She sings lead in the song Hunter when they opened for Stryper in Mexico.

    Thanks! Keep on doing more from them. My suggestion is... ummm... any of their songs! But maybe 'Dull Knives' live from the Warning Cave for deTour

    of the band singing and getting into it it is priceless same goes for the concert in Madrid Spain highly recommended but they are filmed by one of the members of her team or the TWA but they are 4K videos

    Dany is the primary singer. Pau sings lead on a few songs. Ale will sing lead when Dany needs to rest her voice. FYI, i think Pau usually sings lead on almost all their demos.

    Seeing Pink Floyd live in the Pulse tour was a religious experience for me and it will be the same when i go see the Warning.

    I don't know how DPA would characterize it, but Dany sings lead in about 75% to 80% of their songs and Pau does the rest or in combo with Dany. Ale will sing lead if either Dany or Pau is sick/injured.

    It depends by the song they sings... there's no absolute lead singer.... the most songs are Danny, the guitarist (ah, learn their names, you're are a good reactor) but Pau, the drummer, writer of lyrics and music, have her space to sing!

    The lead singer is Dani and Pau is backing vocals but she is also a lead singer because she sings lead in some of the songs.

    Pau sings lead or co-lead in about 25% of the songs, Dany the rest and Ale only sing lead live when Dany is sick.

    Their super power is their ability to Harmonize. It is fabulous.. Dany sings lead 80% of the time. Pau has some she sings, and Pau and Dany will split on some songs. Ale is great on backing vocals but does not enjoy singing lead.

    Dany chearing the crowd. Dany's lttlle dance, Pau jumping up an down in anticipation for Ale's bass DUM DUM and all of them doing what they do, you don't get that from the official video, but you get other aspects.-TW har now bout 47+ originals - and a number of amazing covers mostly done when they were younger.
