This band is unlike anything I have ever heard in my life. They are stone jazzers, whether they know it or not. Their sense of time, chord voicings (the most brilliant electric guitar arrangements I've ever heard), melody and harmonies are ridiculously good. And of course, their respective chops on their instruments are years ahead of their obvious ages. Thank God for bands like this in an age of plain vanilla, auto-tuned pablum called music.
Kida is a virtuoso guitarist, Hirohiro is an insanely creative bassist, Ikkyu is the artistic genius & muse behind most of the song concepts, and Yoshida is an absolute monster on drums. Scary good at what they do.
