I've been saying this FOR YEARS. Both of their entire cultures centre around food. Most of the dishes they both eat come from what peasants used to eat. Thai people don't talk about the weather, instead it's "have you eaten? when did you eat? when will you next eat? bring some of that chicken you made and I'll share my soup". Social events are an excuse to make great food.
That's what I think all the time 1. they take their food seriously 2. they use motorbike 3. they're loud 4. they're strict with their child 5. they exclaim "ahia" instead of "ouch" which's similar to Chinese or Japan
