I spent several days years ago building a rounded paver patio, and that was hard work. And I didn’t have polymeric sand, so that allowed sinking. Great videos.
I’m telling you brother you inspired me big time I’m doing my whole backyard starting mar 1 I would definitely send u pics of process again thank for inspiration brother 🙏🙏🙏
One would have to be a master to be able to explain the process way you do I wish you were based out of Maryland i would have def have you do my patio drive way and walkway no one in my area has even heard of open base grade
Thank you very much for the kind feedback. I have spent a lot of time in my life focused on this trade. I love it and I love sharing it with others. This base prep method is something I really try to educate people on because like you said, most just don't know about it and I believe it is far superior to the traditional ways that most use. ✌
Hold string parts parallel with cut end in your left hand. Go under right side string, then back under left, creating a D on right side. Then pull in back over top of both strings, to the right and thought the D. Pull string tight with left hand and then pull end of string...thank you for tip
Thanks! And no I don't. They usually come off just fine. I'm sure it would do nothing but help if I did though. Never felt the need really. This pad is about the most concrete finishing I ever do...LOL. Most concrete pads I pour are just footings to build on and they will end up being buried.... ✌
We are laying the tee pad and pouring the concrete pad for your throwing foot to land on in this video. Let me know what you think, enjoy the video! If you want to see the excavation and backfilling video, click this link right here 👉 th-cam.com/video/ChaJe3JqD6I/w-d-xo.html

"...break up lines of four blocks..."
You got it!
Nice job
Thank you ✌
Nice! Are you going to be showing the wall build too?
Yes sir! That was my favorite part honestly, I love stone work ✌🏻
I built paver teepads on my disc golf course and I liked all of them until I seen yours. Now I think mine suck😂
🤣 LOL! I'm sure they are much appreciated by many people man, this sport needs more nice tee pads ✌
Looking good as always . Love the videos! Do you put anything on the form boards to make them easier to remove?
Thanks! And no I don't. They usually come off just fine. I'm sure it would do nothing but help if I did though. Never felt the need really. This pad is about the most concrete finishing I ever do...LOL. Most concrete pads I pour are just footings to build on and they will end up being buried.... ✌
Do you use perma edge or just quik concrete for edging the pavers in?
Just regular concrete mix bags (80lb). Nothing special. That perma-edge is very expensive...
👍

You dont tamp the chip stone?
Nope, we compact the base stone. then after the pavers are laid, we hammer them into place and compact them when we do the polymeric sand.
@@TheChristianHardscaper whats involved in compacting the poly?
