Fiber spider...all I can say is you are AWESOME! I just made this spiral beanie today and it turned out so cute! Thank you! You are a great teacher!! Thank you 🥰
Love your explanation. You make every chain every cluster every row every pattern to the finish, as clear as crystal. Thank-you. It's a joy to follow you.
I just kept going and stitched a large flat spiral into a baby blanket it was so easy following your excellent excellent instructions thank you!!blessings stay safe hugs
Thank you Fiber Spider for this wonderful tutorial. I made several of these beanies in different colours for hubby who absolutely loved them. I would be very interested in a tutorial for a bobble stitch beanie. Thank you once again for all your hard work 😄
So very addicted to your tutorials. I just can't get enough of the tutorials. It seems like I want to crochet just about everything I see in the tutorials. Would love to see more tutorials that I can make for lapghans. God bless 😅
I really enjoy your tutorials.... I love this beanie. I have made 4 beanies so far..... Your videos are always easy to follow (I only started crocheting about a year and a half ago). Thank you for taking the time to make them. I can't wait to see what you crochet next........
Very nice :) I was looking a summer/spring beanie to make for a male friend of mine and this pattern perfect with the little holes it makes it suitable for spring, autumn even summer 😊 I am almost finished, making it with 60% bamboo 40% cotton yarn from ice yarns and surprising I really like beanie turned upside down, I think that spiral pattern shows much better from the wrong side out, kinda find it cool. thank you 🥰
Dear Fibre Spider, Im Philomena from Pune India- Gynaecologist by profession but a die hard crochet fan! Absolutely love your videos. Especially the way you tweak patterns! I love to do the same😊 Thank you soooooooo much😘
I just started doing this and one other video that you have done and thank you for going in detailed step by step. You make it very easy to follow. I will be looking for others.
Just wanted to make a note that this pattern was made with the average adult's head in mind, however, the pattern can be easily adapted to any size head by employing a little math. We may remember from middle school that the circumference of a circle is twice the radius (diameter) times pi, but that pi is one of those crazy irrational numbers that goes on forever. Thankfully, crochet is a bit stretchy and forgiving, so we have no need to be so precise. If you measure the circumference of the recipient's head and then divide by 3, it will give you the diameter of the flat circle that you need to work. A baby hat might be only 5" across. Someone with a larger head might be 8-9" across. Or you might work to 8-9" across to make a slouchier hat (just make sure to decrease a bit to make your band snug). You can play with it to see what works best for you! :)
A new viewer and renewing my crocheting skills that lay asleep for decades🙃 love your relaxing voice and easy to follow instructions! Thank you and will continue to pop in to see what other fun projects you can teach me. I’ve made two of the spiral beanies, they’re that easy👍🏼 Chris from CA
Dear Fiber Spider, Thank you so much for this tutorial..you are fabulous and a great tutor just made it ..and your instructions was easy enough for me to follow..cheers..
Hello Fiber Spider! I was made one hat for my daughter Natalia with red heart ombre cocoa and she 💘 the hat . Thank you for your tutorials always help a lot! 👍😘💖👋
Beautiful hat and I want to thank you for the tutorial and I truly Appreciate you taking the time out to explain and not rush through it. I just finished making my 1st hat...so let’s see what the guys going to think about it 🤣😊😊😊
Good morning, thank you for all of your crocheting tutorials I think you’re amazing! Would you happen to have the “owl stitch pattern? Crochet tutorial of course, if you do would you mind sharing it, please? Thank you☺️
Hi FiberSpider, This is just too cute and looks like an easy pattern to master. I can't wait to try this. Making this one for my daughter first. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Blessings to you and yours. Kathy B. (Fairylady0227) 💜
Thank you so much enjoyed the video. You always take the time to explain the pattern. Thank you again. Do you ever do left handed videos it really helps us lefty’s ?
I really liked the video. I think you went at a good speed so I could follow along. It was very informative Thank you. I can't find the subscribe link.
Good morning Fiber Spider! I really like this hat. I have a "crazy" question, please. Would there be a way to leave the beginning circle open and a little bigger? Both my granddaughters put their very long hair up in a ponytail and it would be great if they could pull that through the opening. Thanks a bushel. 🤗🤩
I haven't tried it personally, but since the first round gives you 12dc, I would imagine you could begin your hat with ch12 (join with sl st), and then continue the pattern, starting with round 2. You'd have to check with your granddaughters to see if that would give them enough space to pull a ponytail through. Otherwise, Ravelry has tons of "messy bun hats" that are meant for exactly this purpose.
Thanks I can’t wait to make that hat! Your videos are my favorites! You already do so much but do you have an email or something because I sometimes have questions about your videos? No worries if not I appreciate all the hard work you put into the videos!
@Fiber Spider, new subscriber here and so glad I found you! I'm a novice but your tutorials make it stress free. Can you recommend a cowl pattern to go with this beanie?
Hi there; curious if you tried your idea? I rather not chain 3 either. Also I'd prefer using that smaller hook for a tighter weave/warmer hat but you'd think that should require more rows. Right? What's your take on these thoughts. My hat is going to Montana where he already reports snowfall. Or I'm compelled to double my yarn. ???🤔🤔🤔
I have tried the sc and chain 1 and it works fine. I think you're right about more rounds with the smaller hook. You may need to just try it on periodically to see how it''s progressing.

This hat reminds me of the which way filet. It's one of those patterns that's both simple and beautiful.
Note to future self: Use an H hook and only go to 60 stitches. Wow, this hat is huge otherwise.

How does a scarf work up with this stitch??
Would this work with single crochet stitches instead of double?
How could I turn this into a slightly slouchy beanie? Is it possible?? I love these videos!!
I am so sorry for you ❤

Do you have any messy bun/ponytail hat?
Thanks for it
I'm wondering if instead of the chain 3 you use the single crochet chain one would fill in the odd gap at the beginning of the round.

@@LyndaThomasflymefree54 I chain up 2 instead of 3 and that really makes a difference.
we need to make scarves in the same patterns
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
how do we get you a sponsor? you totally deserve it! Lion Brand would be perfect I think =)
Can u you clear my doubt?? If I use a smaller hook may be 3.00mm or 3.5mm will it be fine for 3 year old?? Please do reply
Too many factors to say yes or no. Depends on the yarn, the hook, and your tension. Everyone stitches differently really.
@@FiberSpider red heart super saver yarn with hook 3.5mm and additionally my tension on yarn is average (not too tight or too loose).
Hi again.. I tried as I mentioned previously..it turned out pretty good.. thanks for your videos 😍😊 love from India
