Wow. I didn't expect the M113 even for book like this. It reminds me of how some people ignore context and say the T-54/55 is a bad system.

As a New Zealander I am thankful they did not include the Bob Semple tank. Tom, please do not cover this tank in your tanks of WW2 series. It was a political moral booster and when the tanks were issued to the NZ army they pulled the armoured bodies off them and converted them back to bulldozers, which indicates there limitations were fully recognised at the time.

I had not planned to. If I ever do, it will be part of an episode covering all the different improvised armored vehicles, such as the Soviet Odessa tanks, the Bob Semple, or the British home guard armored trucks.

Could just make a list of snubs that were all worse: Jadgtiger, Arjun, M22 Locust, Asad Babil, Valiant, the $32 billion Future Combat System program, and like the Stridsvagn 74 are easy picks for inclusion

Oh Man that book is the worst. Just in a couple of minutes - 6000 Panzer 1´s produced - when, by who , how??? And apparently the Ha-Go could be disabled by "a brave soldier with a knife". Look I know the Marines are tough hombres, but they aren't stupid. Good luck selling them that advice........

22:50 didn't the original Bradley have it too? Could be wrong.

I believe so. I suspect lots of countries have tried the concept, Britain and Sweden were just the ones I could think of off the top of my head.
