You forgot to mention one card that goblins counter: skeletons. Whether your opponent plays skeletons at the bridge or splits them, placing goblins behind the king tower will counter them.
You can actually counter the goblin gang, although the timing has to be a lot more precise because of the spear goblin range buff. Right before the spear goblins get in range, place the goblins on top of the spear goblins. They should take out the spears, and the gang’s melee goblins should retarget to your goblins.
These counter videos are useful but what we need to start having is card combo counters as in mid to high ladder most players wont just put a mini pekka or giant at the bridge or sokmething by themselves
I remember the only deck that i could find with goblins (3) was a mortar deck. I argued against my friends back in 2018 that gaurds was a good card since it is better than goblins while thinking that goblins was secretely also a good card.
2:09 the best way to counter electro spirit is similar to firecracker, the electro spirit has chain dmg so if u place goblins in between ur princess tower and ur king tower right before the electro spirit hits, u can chain it into ur king towert and get it activated
@@Kkanon it may be that some devices are slow, but I can literally react to princess at the bridge. I have the card in hand and as soon as i see something at the bridge i play it and it works. There's a small amount of time it takes the princess to walk in range of the tower, and that window is technically reactable
11:35 you can actually fully counter Mighty with perfect timing if you put them in the middle near your king cause they split 3/1 and if your opponent pops the ability the last Goblins kites back MM and fully counters it. You can also fully counter a Hog for no hits if you predict it
Tip: for the fire spirit, when it’s placed at the bridge you can put the goblins in the middle as soon as the fire spirit is placed so the goblins separate and 2 die, and 2 live
Ok I'll make it simple Mini tank: in the middle Ranged troops: surround them Flying troops (long range): next to the tower at the last second Flying troops (small range): distract by placing behind them troop Swarms: in the middle
when coutering the fire spirit... couldn't you somehow split the gobs so you can do something in the opposite late? idk, 2 gobs could help with dual lane pressure, but ig you would need to pull off some timing

my top three cards 3 knight 2 firecracker but 1 i love the goblins one of the best defense cards in the game ik a lot of people like the skeletons more cuz there more cheap and weak but goblins are way better more health one extra troop more damage just for one more elixer
This is probably the best card in the game especially because it’s only 2 elixir and unless ur playing a really cheap cycle deck it does what skeletons do but much better and for only 1 extra elixir
I realize supercell will give an evo to each common card, so goblins are common and i see that they are too OP without an evo, now they would be too broken if we got our first goblin evolution 😛👍💪
Its very risky but i had very rare interactions where i surounded Bomber and Wizard with 3 skeletons and they died without dealing damage on tower. With Wizard its VERY rare

Essentially, the general rule is that if the troop is melee/flying, you should kite or distract them, and if the troop is ranged/splash, surround them

skellies: play them 0.3 seconds after seeing the shadow or you will receive 1.000 damage
goblins:play them in the middle, or not it doesnt matter

When thwarting Fire/Electro Spirits, your better off splitting the Gobs mid/low so only 2 are sacrificed, setting counterpush on opposite side.
You can fully counter wizard with goblins but the timing is kinda difficult
