And when did misty show him affection? when? when!? all i remember is the part when she mentioned marriage. And well, you need to consider the fact that ash had only started his journey at the time (10 y/o) so, i dont know how to say it, but he was still young and maybe love wasnt in his vocab

no it was true that may and ash kiss in a episode it was called a kiss under a mistletoe it was a christmas special in japan but it was never aired in the USA...if you try to look for that episode you can't find cuz its really super rare ^^
