Yeah sekiro wasn’t all that hard, unlike other games made by fromsoftware sekiro get easier the more you learn the games mechanics ( basically all the fights in this game are like a dance). For example I have over 300hours in Elden ring and only 50-60 hours in sekiro and I still feel like I am better at sekiro compared to Elden ring.
I posted a hot take basically saying this on an elden ring group after I beat isshin the sword saint and I got jumped in the comments 😂😂 elden ring is ‘easy’ for a lot of people because they use cheese builds and the most OP weapons like the thorns ( thank god it got nerfed ), blasphemous blade, double ROB and summon mimic. It’s basically as easy as you want it to be but seeing noobs telling me they took 3 tries on someone like Malenia and saying it’s a piece of cake, oh how my blood boils 😂
Yeah exactly like don’t get me wrong Elden ring can be as easy as you want it to be, I personally used every thing at my disposal to beat the game the first couple of play through a just cheesing everything, then the dlc came out and I actually had to learn how to play properly. Now I am doing a run without using summons or cheese type weapons (basically inherently broken weapons) on any of the major bosses and so far so good currently still have to beat all dlc and every major boss in the snowy region
@@danicraciun4590I don’t know I’m not the biggest souls fan only played demon souls remake, dark souls 3, and lies of p trying to set aside enough money and time to get Elden ring but to me it seems like it would be easy because why not use everything at your disposal in the game I feel like the game should have you play in a fun way not some code like I can’t use summons like how in the souls games I’ve played you can’t really build an op build or at least you have to go out of your way use glitches and find certain spells bare
@@danicraciun4590no dude, it’s just easy like that, 700 hours in Elden ring, 50 hours in sekiro, I’m better at sekiro, but I can still tell Elden ring is easier, (for reference consort radahn took me half the time a sword saint isshin, for consort I used claymore and no summons) maybe souls combat is just harder for YOU.
As someone with over 200 hours in elden ring, 200 in ds3 and 100 in ds remastered, I can confidently say that I'm worse at those games compared to sekiro. I think the big reason why sekiro feels easier is because you are stuck with that 1 playstyle through your entire run, no respecing mid playthrough, no finding rings or talismans to boost your damage/absorption, the game quite literally forces you to "git gud" at 1 playstyle, and by the time you finish your first run, you've practically mastered the games mechanics
First I would like to say I just discovered your channel and watched a few videos and I love it, keep up the good work and more sekiro ty Second the easiest way to kill the guardian ape is to do the same thing as you were doing but when he does the big sword drop thing at the end of his sword combo after you deflect/parry that move, you can use the loaded spear to do a crazy amount of damage to his posture or vitality (I forgot which one) by using that spear and then pulling out the centipede
I beat the guardian ape yesterday and boy that was a fun fight. Watching you get killed in phase 1 to his grab was hilarious cause I got hit by it so many times to. I finally learned to dodge into it and you can completely avoid it.
Not going to lie I’m hype if this be comes a full series, pro tip rice is a heal you can get more then once from the girl, also moral draw is faster and more powerful when you jump you can do this with a skill in the prosthetic skill tree
@@LivinFN same here sekiro is my favourite from software game (granted I've only played it and Elden ring but still lol) I got every ending and every achievement and did all the gauntlets of strength and I'm praying we get another sekiro game
i’d say for me personally sekiro was the hardest since the learning curve can be pretty brutal for some including me at the time but the way the game is designed is so that you progressively get better and better as it goes on, training you further until you reach the endgame so by then you have all the knowledge and tools at your disposal to finish it off. i can recognize how people think the game is easy but mostly i just respond by saying you got gud because the whole game basically revolves around honing you to be this master at its combat and that to me makes for a perfectly fair and balanced experience. ppl tripping about you having a subjective opinion on difficulty have to relax lol
the only way to progress is by going underwater and finding like a underwater section and you know your going through right way when the giant koi fish attacks you
Fountainhead palace is really bad. After you get to the sakura idol or whatever it’s called (the one with the miniboss on the tree), jump in the water and somewhere on the left by the wall you will find a cave where you have to get through without the giant koi fish seeing you. If you find the underwater headless, you don’t have to fight it, the cave is basically to his left, but if you do wanna fight him I suggest taking out his pink clone first since he has a lot less HP, and then fight the original headless using the giant fish skeleton next to him as cover. There’s also a shichimen warrior near the idol, go to the base of the tree and then forward through the wolves. He’s pretty easy with some divine confetti. Good luck
@@Mtk-edits yeah I agree but I beat the ashina depths one faster cuz I got really really lucky. the big ape was staying back pretty much the entire time I was fighting the other one
1000 likes 1000 likes. Because i was saying myself, Mibu village should have been done first.. I love seeing these, hoping for more. I just platinum the game and was thinking of doing challenges runs of it.
actually i think demon bell doesn't really make the game hard, i tried it on my second playtrough and i don't really find any different beside that they are a little bit tanky, and kuro's charm maybe make thing a little bit harder, but by the time u already get an ending u already learn almost all enemies attack and their rythm, so i think beside from fighting isshin saint and inner father without the charm, kuro's charm isn't really matter and just to be clear sekiro is my first soul game
Sekiro is far more easier than elden ring pure melee build (not cheese build), no summon.. but sekiro is pure “gitgud” game. No need to grind no need to level up, all u need is dance and parry.
didnt do it right you have to beat it 150% enemy speed, ng+, charmless, bell demon, no resurrections, prosthetics, items, skills, combat arts, or fun and then youve beaten the game properly
That happens in regular difficulty aswell. Your posture rises with perfect parries aswell but it cannot be broken while perfect parrying so this way if you miss like 2 parries after parrying a long combo your posture will be broken.
Sekiro: shadows die way fuckin more than twice
Sekiro: Die
Alone

i have never played this game but it gives me terrible lies of p flashbacks. freaking swamp monster
The Corrupted Monk in Mibu Village gave me HELL when I tried doing demon bell, no kuro’s on NG+2 😢

You made the green monkey so difficult lmao

Can’t have a FromSoft game without teleport grabs :)
Guardian’s ape grab is meant to be dodged to the left since he’s basically doing a sweep with his right, that’s why he kept getting hit

i just jump it and it works
The spear would have made the guardian ape second phase so much easy

find the idea that you need to do a challenge run in order to have the right to an opinion kinda stupid.
