We are two guys from Missouri doing a Craft Beer Review and a Whiskey Review (or Whisky Review depending where you are from) with a drive to always Try Something New. Some of the things we love to try are Scotch, Bourbon, Rum, Tequila, wine, and craft beer of all kinds. We argue between Stouts and Porters, IPA and Sour, Farmhouse and Lager. I'm sure there isn't anything we won't disagree about except that we like to try new stuff.

Try "Dessert Door Sotol" (aged) - Made in Texas. It's like a excellent tequila and an excellent mezcal had a baby - Mighty tasty
Awesome Show Gentleman. Most of the Spirit's in Mexico are Types of Mezcal's. Mezcal 's come from Various Agave or Megay's. Tequila's are restricted By Law to only be made from The Bluve Agave plant
you should try Raramuri Sotol is the best, at least for me...

Been getting into mezcals lately; just picked up a bottle of this today. Great video

Historically, tequila is actually a form of mezcal. Find a bottle of
Flor Del Desierto Sierra or a Clande. Spectacular Sotoles. And look up 3-minute tastings/sotol.
Been looking for some more. We have had 5 now. All very good. All very different. I will see if we can find the ones you suggested though! Pretty tough search for sotol in general around here.
i have a bottle of this in the cabinet, i keep trying but I can't get into it
So this was our first one. Going back, I have to say it is not nearly as good as some of the others, say, Dessert Door barrel aged. But, it is unique. so points there I suppose. ~salute
