also you can’t compare food to things like certain hairstyles or languages. for example many korea hip hop artist put dreads in their hair or other hairstyles simply to look “hip hop” or “swag” yet completely ignore the fact that throughout history that hair/hairstyle has been mocked and even called “ghetto” therefore leading to people banning those hairstyles in certain companies. they want to be apart of a cultural without accepting it as a whole. they only look at the good parts or “cool” parts and ignore the rest. which is disrespectful.
