I always loved Anwar Al Awlaki's the stories of the prophets series, you know from before his lectures took a more radical turn..
I'm really happy Ammar agreed to do this series because I wanted see this topic from a Shia. Very happy thank you so much

Yes Mashallah like sayyed said, Even if my opinion differs I still can live in a pluralistic society. That’s why it is pluralistic, there are many opinions.

As brother mentioned homosexual individuals should be treated just like everyone else cause they are human beings like us but with a different sexual preference. It is not allowed or acceptable in Islam but at the same time Islam teaches us not to be hateful by discriminating against them. If an individual claims to be a gay Muslim and wants to attend a mosque as the brother mentioned there shouldn’t be a problem for it is the house of God. However, if their presence is as such to normalize the idea of homosexuality with in the religion of Islam, it should not be allowed. Also if such individuals are found to try to encourage such acts within a Muslim community, they should not be allowed respectfully with a prior warning.

The Bible says Ibrahim (a.s.) was the uncle of Lut (a.s.). I'm not sure what our Shi'a hadiths say about this, but either way they were closely related.
Imam Sadiq (a.s) narrates that Prophet Lut was initially in the category of those Prophets that follow an Imam, which in this case was Prophet Ibrahim. He was sent to Sodom and Gomorrah where he then became a messanger because the angles visited him in person

Brother this is not a case of popularity please I do not want an explanation as far as how to approach this so I do not anger the same sex people.this is one that I beilve I have heard about it on almost all religion.koran clearly states that men having lust for men as far as women I do not know because is mentioned men having lust for men and that is clearly a sin one that will mot have Allah forgiveness so please on this subject let us not even try to be politically correct it is at it has been mention is a sin and no if and but about it.of course I am not knowlageble of all the hadiths but I can almost be sure no hadiath has had explanation of its acceptance or the people of Iutt were also rubbing people or rapping people so there are the one that Allah showed his wrath no men lusting for men is not going to have Allah mercy if you happen to be a goid one or you happened to have taken 1000 orpahebs under your wing.this goes back to the story of mother Teresa some one with in our generation that was a real good person and helped thousands but at the end she died a kaffer one that called prophet if Allah Jesus his sin and his himself sorry but she will not get a pass to Janna because how goid she was it is clearly stated in Koran that Christians and Jews are distant to hale accept a very few that revert to Islam and accept Islam so let us not fool ourself.i know there lot of same sex marriage that are far better lived that different sex marriage but again there is no pass and a ticket to Janna because you are a very good person after all majority of Christians and Jews are goid people but it does not mean to be a close companion of prophet like abobark and Omar and heart the prophets dauthur lady Fatima and your action is forgiven because you were a companion of prophet.yiu were companion of the prophet while prophet lived among them as soon as prophet left this world they became hungry for power as much as killing the in born son of ali and Fatima and prophet of islam.if none if these convinced you than there is no different between you and a bird that put his head into snow and as long as he can not see you he thinks no one else is seeing him.
