Really amazing conversation! The converstation about Black Panther and how it affected the both of them emotionally was so raw and beautiful and more than anything interesting coming from their perspectives! Also them talking about production 20 years ago and now was very interesting!

Charlize Theron is definitely one of the most brillant versatile bold talented actress producer of this generation, she has created such an iconic performances in cinema, from Monster to Furiosa to Tully to Atomic Blonde to North Country to Young Adult to Prometheus ...never afraid to take risks she embodies her characters, can do any genre from Drama to Action to Comedy to Science Fiction ... truly gifted actor, and as human being her personal life and the drama she has been through and how she handles it is truly inspiring , brave women , love her dedication and humanitarian work in Africa as well, would love to see Michael and Charlize together in a movie !

Michael always seems like he's acting. Like he's never relaxed to be himself but he eventually relaxes as Charlize maintained a sincere environment. He seems very cautious about his presence and his brows are always tense. Some could say he's just a passionate thinker or a man in the present. I think it's a bit of tailoring his persona as most actors do in front of the camera. Seems like a chill guy tho.

To be honest though I truly believe Michael is a good guy he just doesn’t wanna rock the boat or anything he wants to become the best at his craft so he tries to make sure he says all the right things but comes off as if he’s not trying so hard to do so but obviously we know what hes doing😂 None the less he’s a good guy just wants to secure his success and sustain longevity.

The character Killmonger brought so much depth and emotion to the MCU series. I hope they bring him back. I see Michael B Jordan carrying the torch for the next African American leading man, from the likes of Denzel Washington, Will Smith etc. He has talent, moral values, and he's also humble. Definitely a role model in the making.
I love him as an actor. I hope the day comes when we don't look for one Black man at a time to represent. Like there are so many white leading actors, it would be great to have 5 or 6 great Black actors winning at once.

I love that Charlize Theron is getting her deserved recognition for 'Tully'. She portrayed a kind of desperation we don't often see in mother's on screen. The subject matter of that movie is so timelessly important and I get the feeling Theron understood that entirely; she seemed to really pour her heart into the role.

I liked this more than i thought i would. That almost 30 minutes flew by.
She's somehow right about the miserable thing. Though they are just movies, it's hard to imagine her as warm, inviting, and easy to get along with (at least to me), because of the roles she's played.
“Tully” is one of my favourite films of 2018. IMO, the character is Charlize’s best performance after “Monster”. She makes Tully a very believable, grounded character we all can relate. The twist is heartbreaking, but it is something we can understand, because that is secretly what we wish to happen.

I had no idea the making of "monster" was this wild and risky! To think that this classic of movie history, that ended up being one of the best movies I've ever seen, had to be fought for so hard in order to get to theaters is crazy. What a fucked up world we live in.
I wanted to see Monster. This is before I discovered I dislike Charlize. She just irritates me. Anyway, the serial killer which whom the film is based actually got to see the film. When asked what she thought, the real killer smiled and said, "It was a good STORY. However, a LOT of the things shown in the film were NOT from my life." They fictionalized the story. That maybe fine for some people but I hate that sh*t.

I think this might be the most genuine and forthright I have ever seen Charlize Theron. She usually comes across like more of a joker, the deadpan sarcastic kind of joker that is fully capable of fucking with the people around her, especially if they don't get her wit. She and Michael B. Jordan are an excellent match for interviews. The conversation was easy, open, and insightful.
My friends and I enjoy Charlize’s funny and sarcastic wit in her other interviews more. She’s hilarious and unpredictable sometimes. This conversation is a bit serious yet insightful

@@alyjulmiste1880 they are both great actors and there is no need to compare. With that being said, I absolutely adore Chadwick and agree that he is an amazing actor. Not only in "Get On Up" but also "Marshall" and "42". He is older than Michael though and has had a wider range of films that have been challenging his skills across the board. His skill of portraying real people is great. He got to play real heroes in 42 and Marshall without powers and a very complicated role in Get On Up because of James Brown legacy coupled with his abusive tendencies. He has had crazy dramatic roles that really put his skill on display. Michael on the other hand has done Fruitvale Station which was great but his skill was overshadowed by the story in the sense that he played second to a racial issue in America and the phenomenon surrounding it. Other than that he played in 2 rather uneventful roles. One was a comedy and the other I do not recall. He's played in Creed but it was an extension of Rocky so again, his skill gets lost in the legacy. It doesn't seem that he had to push himself and his acting for that role. It had a foundation that he just had to build on rather than create and though I enjoy the film (haven't seen the second yet) I feel that his career has skyrocketed without him displaying crazy skill so if he does get something rather testing he has a real chance of it going really flat and he could plummet or do really well. I have faith but he needs something fresh, not to get lost in a comic book role or a boxing role that boxes him in. We saw him fall flat in Fantastic Four and he has had a good comeback but he needs something great fast. Also Fantastic Four had just about EVERYTHING wrong with it so he didn't take a huge fall. Chadwick had ample opportunities to prove himself before Black Panther where HE stood out. I can't say the same for Michael.

I really want Charlize to play Emma Frost in the new MCU X-Men movies. She'd be perfect for that role. Then have some of the lesser X-Men not be recasted like quicksilver should stay Evan Peter's and iceman should stay the same actor. They can change the back stories on all of them, but the actors shouldn't all be scrapped.
That is an AMAZING idea. I never thought of that and haven't seen that. I just see people saying that she should have played Captain Marvel but Emma would be an amazing role. I wonder who would play Black Queen and the rest of Hellfire Club. I personally feel like X-Men would be an amazing television show because they have so many stories and tales that is continued which would never be played out well as a bunch of movies. It'll never truly be enough but once a week where we can see them grow as a team and a school with new members working their way in while fighting the Brotherhood, Hellfire Club, Alpha Flight and the Sentinels and their battles with Senator Kelly and Striker while still trying to balance normal lives. A movie every couple of years would be great especially with some origin movies but they should pair with the show. A great Storm movie or a movie about the Summer brothers (all three of them as a trilogy and then maybe some final battle or final movie with all three featured) seeing Gambit with his thieves and finding Storm whem she had no powers and becoming an X-Men. Rogues transition from being an enemy to an X-Men and probably not being fully trusted at first. Colossus finding Magik. Shadowcat falling in love with Colossus. Warpath's death. Banshee's death or him Vs Black Tom Cassidy. The team caring for Siren after her father's death. Nightcrawler running from demons in another dimension when he teleports, and SO MUCH more. The chemistry between that team cannot be played out in just film. They need and deserve more and so do the fans. Sorry I'm rambling but dammit I love the X-Men and MCU is bullshitting them. The whole Disney, Fox thing sucks and now Stan is gone so we may never get great X-Men on any screen.
