My husband and I got to visit the ark with our grown kids and we rode scooters and enjoyed the ark very much. Ron passed away 1.5 yrs ago so heaven is teaching him all sorts of history. So glad you got to visit it. It is so big.
What a beautiful experience! Had no idea how big the Ark was. There would be no way I could do all that walking. I bet a lot of seniors couldn't go there because of mobility issues. So it was nice to see it through your camera, Gary! I'm enjoying your vacation!
If you go to the MIDDLE of the ark, ( not the main entrance) there is and elevator that you can take to go to the top. Then you walk down . You see everything,but yo u don’t have to walk up and back down. OR you can rent a scooter!
We just got back from The Ark and Creation Museum Thursday night. It was absolutely AMAZING! I highly recommend everyone go and don't skip the Creation Museum that was actually our FAVORITE! We arrived Saturday about 6pm. On Sunday we went to the Creation Museum and rented one of the electric wheelchairs for $38. Day 2 which was The Ark, we rented TWO. My sister andbI couldn't have made the trip without them. They were a lifesaver and the kids (all r 18+) so maybe not kids anymore loved getting a break from walking and using them.
Oh I thank you all so much for this incredible adventure. I have been dreaming of seeing the Ark Encounter ever since I first heard about it a couple years ago. I enjoyed watch so much and so happy you got to experience it as a family and add it to your memories. God bless
The day we went to the Ark it was raining. That made for great pictures…pretending the flood was coming. I hope to go back soon. I bought the soundtrack of music being played and play it to remember the experience.

I am nearly crippled and I went and rode on their scooter which cost me $45 to rent a couple of years ago. I also remember that their food was really good at their Buffet.
This just showed up and I had never heard of this place until this summer. My brother and his wife took me there I will be 72 years old next month and I loved it I walked the whole thing. I think everyone should experience it. Thanks for putting it out there. God bless

We LOVE The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Both are amazing! I'm so glad you dear folks were able to go and enjoy. We live fairly close to them and watched them in their developmental stages, and they keep expanding and building new and wonderful things. Y'all come back now, y'hear!

Most parents aren't raising children with an appreciation for who we are through Jesus Christ.My grandsons just came home from church camp. 8 children was saved,One of their best friends who went with them was saved.They were so thankful for the experience, and all they learned in the Word,The Holy Bible.

We would definitely visit over and over if we could only be closer( it’s a really long drive for us old folks from Virginia but totally worth it!) so glad you were able to see and experience this!!
