Padmashree M. Boyer was one of the greatest showman of Konkani theatre and films. He was also an outstanding playwright and comedian. Rightly known as “ Palkacho Jadugar “ which translates into “ Magician of the (Konkani) Stage “ M. Boyer has enthralled Konkani audiences and has been awarded many awards including the coveted Padmashree Award. There is a dialoge in 'Nachom ea Kumpasar' "Jem ami kitem kelan tem sarkem ou na time sangtolo". What the dialoge means is that all the old musicians who decorated countless hindi films with their musical talent is, that they did not do the right thing by not insisting on their work being given credit in the film. They worked in the background doing all the real music and the other hindi music director who really did not have music talent took the credit.
