It's a pitty that the MVP always seems to be chosen from the winning team. I really like Filler but I think, Skyler carries the US team more than anybody else. No offence to playing skills of SVB but Sky is always growing a GIANT at this stage!

I hear what you're saying, but that is part of the Mosconi Cup tradition. If it's in Europe, it's the same deal (maybe even louder) and the reason why is because it adds to the pressure. These pros always play with essentially perfect conditions; fresh cloth, perfectly leveled new tables, new balls (clean as well), the premium cues and accessories, and usually total silence while down on a shot. I kind of like the atmosphere because let's see what they can do with some distraction and extra pressure. Us mere mortals in local pool leagues play with crap conditions all the time. Loud noise should not be able to rattle these world class players and that is part of the gauntlet of the Mosconi Cup. You remember that scene from Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves where Robin hood is training people to shoot the bow and brings up this exact idea about having to execute when there are ambient distractions. He winds up struggling with it himself when Lady Marian distracts him lol. Just my two bits :)

Now THAT was some intense pool. You gotta admire Skyler's confidence.
On many days...Ruiz is the favorite and his win streak is unlimited. But today, the Sky was the limit. Sky did a great job of getting the crowd involved. USA! Sky!

There is a difference between a live video and a premiere video! This is Mosconi crowd! Anything else than making noise and giving heat to the players would be boooooooring at this stage. That's why people love Mosconi Cup. And players like Skyler and Joshua are born for that stuff!
