All vw's sounds like a lawn mower. I had the welder glasspack in and put nice tips on my VW. It didn't have that click click click anymore. It gave me about 75 horsepower more than what I had. Didn't sound like a Porsche it was deeper, but at least it didn't have that tick tick tick tick tick tick tick like a cylinder is blown. Thank God for the welding class at Palmdale High
