Never had that problem because I waited for the switch to get out of its growing pains before I got one
I got the updated version of the switch. But the drift is different. Sometimes it wants to automatically go up then it stops. And it sucks because I HAVE to use it because my stupid gamecube style pro controller started drifting. And the way it drifts is you can literally see the controo stick tilted. Which maies the game move itself.
1:06 is my brother! I always come back and laugh at the absolute intensity in his face. The best part is he didn't know he'd be on a commercial or anything, so that intensity is his actual genuine face LOL

I did the same. Waited inside GameStop luckily the people were friendly. Also my switch works fine like 99% of the ones sold. Someone put a vid together showing a few vocal people with issues and now the switch has "problems".

The switch could be found in many places except a retail store near me! A few stores in my area said it could be around November before they even get a few more in stock.

the switch is stocked literally everywhere here in toronto. each eb games store has like 20 switches and each walmart has about 40.
Hopefully some will be in stock by Christmas this year, as I'm hoping to get my hands on one at least.
Now the last unexpected place for it to be is on store shelves.

There's a high chance I'm somewhere in this video. I was at this event in New York City, March third. Met amazing people and got to play the switch before anyone else. Truly amazing experience. I even got interviewed by some news networks, but I don't know if they can be found anywhere.

The marketing team of Nintendo has been nothing short of amazing. This is a great commercial and again it's primarily showing adults playing the Switch which is very smart. I own it, it's a great gaming device and once the other " big guns " come it will be the " must have " gaming system. All in all Nintendo has been doing great with the Switch but the marketing team has been nailing it with these great tv ads, they have been doing a fantastic job....kudos to those guys ;)
I dont see that as the main selling point here, personally I just think it was that everyone shut up, stopped talking, even the kids, and just showed us "daily life".
