I love John, problem for me that whenever I hear this type of rhetoric, the person talking about the lack of diversities on film always seem to miss actors such as Star Trek - Ricardo Montoblan, my cousin Linda Dangcil, Rita Moreno (EGOT) and so many more. But all conversations also miss the one actor who has been in more films and TV productions, Danny Trejo. MACHETE. It’s a nice speech, and yes, “Hollywood” could be more diverse on screen, I would be more interested in the industry hiring more people of color behind the scenes. Note, the four producers in my book that always have had a diverse cast in their respective productions would be Clint Eastwood, Don Johnson, chuck Norris, and Kevin Costner have always cast appropriately.
