That looks and sounds awesome! And your playing was just spot on! Great video and very informative. Thanks. Wanted to ask, does it have locking tuners?
Another great one Ryan. I'm guessing the case that came with my '16 Strat (whatever used to be the Amer Stnd) and the case is blk and the inside is a beautiful plush green and it smells like that great vanilla smell that my '19 Les Paul has.
Gold plating wears out over time and can flake off, exposing the base metal underneath. It also loses its luster and fades with time. In general, plating can last for up to two years with proper care. The best way to deal with tarnished pieces is to have the piece replated when required.
Two weeks ago, I purchased the Fender American Ultra-Stratocaster Texas Tea {SSS}. I enjoy it in the case just as much as out. maybe I am a little bias tea is my favorite drink.
No. Fender must be slackin’ because I just bought an American Pro II Strat and it didn’t come with the leather-like pouch for the Accessories and the COA. Bunch of jerks hahaha! Cheers -Ryan
@@Crypticmaskguitar I bought one too. It had all the candy, tools, and certs. You got ripped off brother. If you love it and don't plan on reselling it, then keep it, but if you might sell it one day, I'd return it for a new one in the box. What ever makes ya Happy is all that matters really.
They are great guitars! I'm sure I could contact Fender and get the missing pouch and truss rod adjustment tool. At this point the 75th Anniversary guitars are finally being fulfilled and it's harder to track them down so returning it (especially since I got it in September) would be pretty tough. Even the AM Pro II that I just got would be a little 4-6 month wait to get a replacement in that colour haha! Crazy times, but great guitars! Cheers -Ryan
The body is an American Pro II… BUT it is an Ash Body. Custom Shop Fat 60s Pickups, Locking Tuners, Gold Hardware, and obviously the Medallion/Ingot and Neck Plate… so yes it is a “Special Edition”. But The Ash, Pickups, and Tuners make a HUGE Difference! Cheers -Ryan
That explains the color grade on your videos! Good job on the reviews though!

Thanks! It does, indeed, have locking tuners! Cheers -Ryan
@@Crypticmaskguitar I meant, strap locks. It was so early in the morning that I didn't type what I wanted to 😂
Strap locks, no… some people like them and some people don’t. They aren’t usually included… but $20-40 and you’re good to go. Cheers -Ryan

Personally I prefer the played in look that naturally occurs with gold plating. I definitely didn’t buy this as a “Show Piece”. Cheers -Ryan

No red handle truss rod tool?

Is this guitar the equivalent to the AM Pro II? Like is it the same, just a "special edition" version?
