There are a couple ways to tell them apart. They have different tattoos, and Tegan has a piercing below her lip (she’s not wearing it in this interview tho).

True but to me it's very easy to tell them apart. They look different even though they're genetically identical.
I was walking in a town 8 miles away. Suddenly, a guy crashed through a plate glassed window yelling, "Jesus is a charlatan priest!" The first ever album I bought for myself in high school was The Con by Tegan and Sara. I was a major T&S fan and that album is still one of my all time favourites. Great seeing them on Stephen Colbert! They are a Canadian national treasure and Iam so proud of their success

I've liked a few of their songs that I came across over the years, but they just seem like such great people in this interview, time to do a deep dive of interviews and albums...
I remember 15 year old sarah and tegan in calgary with their guitar and djembe. those were the days.
now that i think about it maybe they each had a guitar and they had a friend come and play djembe with them... it's a bit foggy

This isn't Tegan & Sara's first book. Their first was _ON IN AT,_ which documented their Australian tour in, I dunno, 2008 or something.
@@RandoLePerson _ON IN AT_ was published. If I'm not mistaken, there was only the first edition, but it was a 3-volume fabric-bound set that came in a slipcase. It wasn't like a handmade book or something.

This interview is so much better than Lilly's Interview. He lets them speak, doesn't seem overly excited and calmly cracks jokes after they're done which actually are funny. Lilly's Interview seemed rushed didn't bring out their personality and how funny they actually are.
So cool to have them on such a wide audience show! This was such a good interview too :) Funnily enough I discovered them because they performed on David Letterman!
They've done so much press and so many interviews for the book and album. It is crazy. You'll spend lots of time watching it all.

I remember buying their.....2nd? album after hearing "walking with the ghost" on college radio in 2004. Nice to see them recognized Stephen....and Sarah looks like an elementary school Art teacher.
If you're referring to the album that "Walking with a Ghost" appears on, then that'd be their 4th album, So Jealous. Their 2nd is called This Business of Art

I experimented on LSD just for a few times when when I was around 16 (I am artistic also) and someone told me someone died because he thought he was stuck in an orange juice glass. I never got that far, I just had fun. This interview cracked me up remembering that time.

I didn't know that, @@Skepticalresident - there are a lot of Sanskrit words in Thai language (via ancient Khmer), maybe that folk belief comes from the same source. I must check with my friends in Indonesia and Lao: there are also a lot of Sanskrit words in Indonesian, but few in Lao. Thai not only is linguistically super similar to Lao but also shares a huge vocabulary. I would like to see if that 'first in, last out' thing is possibly from that shared Sanskrit source or is a wider belief across Southeast Asia.

Don't know why others are trying to tell you what drugs to take (and not take)... Just do your research, be careful, and take whatever drugs you prefer. It's literally nobody else's business as long as you're not hurting or robbing others.
Make sure you have a reliable source. Set it up so that you have an experienced person with you, preferably not getting high to serve as a guide. Do it someplace that you love and that you're completely safe in. Take 50mg of 5-HTP which gives your brain serotonin that the LSD, and a lot of other substances, use up quickly. Have a light, low-fat meal a couple of hours before you take it, don't eat anything that makes you gassy. Dissolve it under your tongue, don't swallow. Put electrolyte supplement into a gallon of water so you have it handy and stay hydrated.
