Its that in the future people in third world countries will be able to drive cheap and high-quality EV, while people in the West can only buy expensive and backward Western EV.😂😂😂

Hahaha,99% LFP battery made in China. China owns the most of the lithium mines

It buys the most lithium for making batteries, but doesn't own most of the mines which are in Australia and S America

the cost of batteries is plummeting, byd make their own batteries, by the end of next year ev's will be cheaper than the equivalent ice alternative, autonomous driving is already better than human driving, solar installations are 600GW this year, the world has changed, any company still investing in ice is lost

Chinese eVs dominates the non-Western markets. And most Western eV sold will have Chinese parts and batteries inside.

No tariffs on EVs here in Australia and NZ, regardless of where they are made.

China did the hard work on clean energy for more than 15 years, finally making EVs affordable and solar cells economical. But the west say it is unfair subsidies. If you check what the west preached to China, including clean energy, you will see what unfair means.

Auto buyers in Europe are clamoring for small electric vehicles that are affordable, not luxurious ones. If European carmakers were to survive this auto ev carnage, they have to bring down that cost of their battery packs.

Can Europe get up to speed? it doesn't matter. If 35% tariffs wouldn't work, you can slap 200% tariffs on them, problem solved.

2030, 2035, 2040... it'll keep on pushed back. you can make more battery & ev factories but where's the source materials & refined materials going to come from? China started building mining & refinery industries over 20 years ago. who ever achieves most independence away from combustion energy first is going to win. care to guess who? hint: the one with the red flag with 5 stars

I don't think so China gets all prize, vietnam, India , Indonesia etc will play big role..
But one thing 4 sure , Europe car industries will lose badly..
US will win , China will win , rest will win.. Europe has no chance of winning..

@@randomguy7175 I see you saying that but the US still can't sell an American produced car in Europe except Teslas. I think they'll close their doors to outsider EVs just like the did to protect the home industry and that will mean as they say Chinese or other foreigners building plants on European soil and costing way more than the ones back home.

@@randomguy7175china built the EV supply chain for the last 2 decades. every EV company will depend on china. that's why japan are try to push everything but EV. unless any country willing to spend money and time to build their own EV supply chain.

This is the problem of keeping the cost of quality high. In the race for margins and luxury brag value the EU has lost out on the volume game. The world is not just a Luxury market. There are real people with real neds outside the anglo-saxon sphere and they don't need luxury. They need products that work which is what China is good at making. You can keep your luxury in your market and keep bragging about quality while the 6 Billion people outside of your bubble will move on. Bye bye.

Due to the fall in battery prices, the price of unsubsidized cost of EVs will fall below that of ICE cars withing the next few years.
