probably gonna get flamed for this but title should've said "Iverson Drops 50 on the Kings" because Jason Williams only got scored on 5 times by AI (4 times as a primary defender and 1 time as a help defender). i was expecting AI to embarrass J-Will one-on-one but he cooked the whole team.
he would ve scored 60 if williams was on him, iverson guarded williams, but williams wanted no piece of ai on the other end- in this game- to people that play- when u switch like that you a bitch like that.

AA AM I agree with the game being soft now but I don't necessarily miss this era of the NBA. Reason being is that players today are better skilled offensively. Back during this era, there were far TOO MANY games where the final scores were 75-70 and the games were just ugly to watch.

The problem with the title is that Williams guared Eric Snow the majority of the time. And Nick Anderson was on Iverson. So it more or less should be Iverson dropped 50 on the Kings.

Actually VC did, after he left the Raptors. He was traded to the Nets. The Nets went to the Finals, I believe, twice with Vince Carter but lost to the Spurs and I can't remember the other WC team....don't feel like researching it. lol
Come2morrow dude, as I remember the Nets only went once to the Finals against the Lakers and VC had not yet arrived. When he did arrive they never went to the Finals. Larry Brown made this man a shooting guard which was smart because he could score at will but people don't realize AI was listed at 6ft. But was really about 5ft. 11inches with shoes on and was 165lbs. on a good day. To put things into perspective Steph Curry is bigger than AI and he was doing this in a tough era. People over look how good he was, if you went to a game when he played he looked like a kid out there with those giants.

I will go to my grave believing that this version of the 01 Sixers would’ve beaten the Lakers in the Finals! Our defense was fast & stifling with Theo Ratliff as the center! We had injuries to Lynch (out), Mckie, Snow & Iverson and still was competitive in that series! Dikembe slowed this team down defensively!
As someone who's from Sacramento, I'd always watch Jason Williams choke against his idol Allen Iverson. Meanwhile, Mike Bibby didn't give a fuck about Iverson and blocked Iverson's ass out of Sacramento. That was the difference between Bibby and Iverson.
