💕 Hi everyone! This is my piano arrangement of Soar (or Shou or Kakeru) from Sailor Moon S Movie. It was interesting doing this one right after working on a soundtrack from the Sailor Moon R Movie! The soundtracks from both movies are so emotional, but quite different! I found the S movie soundtrack more sweet and 'romantic', whereas with R it was a bit more dark and melancholic.
💕 The soundtrack from the S movie seems less popular but it's so beautiful and underrated! I actually got so emotional re-watching some scenes while trying to get the screenshots 😭. I know it's not canon but it's so touching seeing this side of Luna and her unconditional 'love' for Kakeru, and then also seeing Artemis' unconditional love for Luna.
🌠 The soundtrack that was playing in the thumbnail pic scene was actually Ai No Message (which I also did a cover of). Different segments of Soar were used three times throughout the movie in scenes with Kakeru 😊.
⭐ Although I really want to get through the whole 90s Sailor Moon discography which I know will probably take a lifetime, I'm trying to prioritize the requested ones first. I currently have 40+ requests so please bear with me if you've made a request! This song takes me back to when I was a child playing with my childhood friend with this song in the background. I always thought he would be my tuxedo mask. I ended up spending ten long years without him. I loved him the whole time but I thought I would never see him again. Fate brought us together again and now we’re together. This is the happiest I’ve been in a long time.

This song is so beautiful and it makes me so sad, I don't know why when I listen to it I think of when I was a child and I dreamed of so many things, everything seemed possible and the harsh reality seemed so far away. Through tears I remember what Mamoru said, "She has many beautiful dreams" referring to Usako and the reason why he loved her. Now I understand what he said. How beautiful are the people who keep dreaming.

@@Senchatunes Yes, I've really been thinking about it and I didn't even realize when writing this comment that like her we must continue dreaming. I'm not even an adult but as you say when you get older you start to see things from another perspective, now that I remember it in the super s season they mention that, that being an adult does not mean having to abandon your dreams, but you have more possibilities of realizing them. Between this and the cover of Luna Ai no Message I'm reminded how good the Hearts in Ice movie really was. Probably the best spotlight for Luna's character.

Yes definitely the best spotlight for Luna's character. It's so nice to see this side of her 💕 Both Mercury's image songs, Someday Somebody and Becoming Sweethearts Cannot Happen are on my list actually! I will get to it eventually. I still can't decide which one to do first though. They're both probably my favourite character image songs! I love how the colors match Luna's fur and crescent moon/yellow ribbon. The S movie is my favorite of the movies and one of my favorite stories overall in Sailor Moon. I also think it has some of the best music. This song, and your cover of Ai no Message, and the ending theme Moonlight Destiny, stand out to me as iconic and heartbreaking and uplifting all at once. I'm going to keep this on loop for awhile.
On the S movie note, I'd love to hear your take on Moonlight Destiny, too - it's never been as popular as Moon Revenge and IDK why. Maybe one day?

The note progression reminds me of something but I can't place it. It's not 1:1 of what I'm remembering but it sounds like the same things just cut and rearranged/paced differently
