- Best-of-3 series of top level StarCraft 2 between the current World Champion Dark and the strongest up-and-coming player Cure. A sick series of Zerg versus Terran where both players play what is considered to be a classical style of StarCraft 2 focused around Marine Marauder Medivac and Mutalisks Zerglings and Banelings, but they roads they take to get to those strategies and unit compositions is very complex.

When Cure wins something big, please start calling him "The Remedy" lol. He is definitely the Cure for Terran vs Zerg! As many puns and plays on the word Cure as possible please.....GREAT GAME AND GREAT CAST!!!!

Lowko, I think Cure was memeing Dark by going for bio. He was complaining about losing in the lategame so he made him lose in the midgame just to meme him. This guy is just nuts 😂

@@dogcatchen I would understand that if he didn't do it every game. Watch the games of Cure and Serral and he changes it up, however his main strategy is bio. So in this case he did straight up only one strat on Dark, which to me is a flex rather than a what he is comfortable with.

That quip will live long after the man is gone. He would be happy, if he could be happy. Why would it be too soon? It's not like it's disrespectful to hail the king just coz he's dead.
@@aulikkimakinen7078 Given my not being aware that it was a long-running quip, yelling "Oh my god, Kobe!" at a Ravager trying to shoot down a Medivac could be "too soon" after Kobe died in a helicopter crash... but this video was from before the accident. Interpretation is a funny thing

Ultras would be relevant if they could walk over zerglings (at the very least) like colossi can walk over any protoss ground.

That game 2 was especially ridiculously amazing and was so good I think it can be summed up by lowko going "Holy sh..." and stopping himself XD Seriously cool game 2 and ridiculous skill by both and a well deserved win by cure.
That game 3 was also legit. The man was like "I just split all of my forces, on creep, and now you can't kill my units no more" and rekt. Again, great job by both and especially Cure.
Let my preface this with saying I am a protoss player not zerg but I do like seeing ultralisk gameplay. It is suppose to be the top tier of zerg but gets countered too hard by terran and protoss late game. I think there should be an upgrade for the ultra that caps the amount of damage it can take from one attack so it doesn't get completely shut down but ghosts and liberators. I don't know the numbers but Blizzard can tweak those to make it so that the Ultra is a proper late game unit that is still countered by ghosts and liberators but is able to a couple more shots.

A Zerg complaining that they can't beat Terran late game is rich. Somehow I don't think he was complaining about the past 2 years when Terran couldn't beat Zerg late game.

They have 70+ workers at the 8:30 minute mark with all these micro and they are maxed out around 10:00. Crazy for me it difficult to being max 12:00 mark without getting harassed or being harassed.
Lowko, would love to hear your thoughts on the races, perhaps even a retrospective over the life of SCII. Why did you pick Zerg to main? What have your ups and downs been with the Swarm? When you moved to playing lots of Random how did the other two races feel to you and where have you got too now?

Great series of games. With the recent changes to Zerg I feel like I can legitimately enjoy games with a Zerg player in them again. It's not just "macro up and defend until the endgame then overrun with Infestors".

Still shocked no one comments on the obvious fact Cure excels because of Dark/DPG! And from Dark's perspective, great job testing out your weaknesses. Sad other top level terrans aren't doing as well.

DARK is a patch Zerg - his Blizcon win is mostly due to Zerg Winfestor / Brood Lord + Nydus / SH play. Now that its fixed he COMPLAINS LOL.
19:00 something suspicious here, notice how he's already blocking the banshee long before he ever sees it, to the point he's got 3 Queens and detection waiting when it actually arrives. He moves the queens 4 times, each time to intercept perfectly without ever seeing the Banshee coming.

Was there a specific reason for dark not going Hydras/Lurker this game ? I think they could've been good against the Bio style Cure chose in all games, especially at defending some bases and buying time for lings to catch up and defend.
