Happy thanksgiving, everyone! Let us remember those who don't have families today. Who don't have friends, and those who don't have warm homes, won't taste turkey or gravy today, maybe not even any food at all. Let's give a turkey dinner to someone who won't have one otherwise. Open your heart, your home, your company, if you can possibly fathom doing so. Remember that today is a day to cherish family and friends and those we care about. Not just a day we eat turkey. Today is a day to remember all the things that are good in our lives, and for a change, not focus so much on what we don't have, or wish was different. Today I'm thankful for my toddler and fiance. That we love one another, really, truly, and respect eachother, that we take care of eachother, make sacrifices for eachother, for no personal gain. I'm thankful that my fiance works so hard so that this thanksgiving we can have a warm home to keep out the snow, and turkey, stuffing, mached potatoes, and gravy on our table. A luxury that so many people won't be able to have today. Do something for someone today. Don't just think about it. Do it. Imagine starving in the cold by yourself today. Imagine how it would feel to recieve a small bowl of warm food in that position. Remember those who are crying today instead of smiling. Then smile because you can.

First year that I didn't watch it on broadcast TV and this is exactly the way I'll be watching it from now on! No more stupid commercials, no more annoying "hosts" talking over the parade the entire time, no more 15-min dance numbers/shows (it's a parade -- not broadway), and no more omitting the smaller, local high school bands. This is the first time in decades I've actually enjoyed this.

Sort of sad, Mom is gone, Dad passed on 3 months ago, and no close knit relatives. Sister and her husband are in California, so it is lonely here. Other sister and husband and closer but are having a bad year with no work. So this year, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be sad and lonely. Hope others are going to have a better year, this is a rough one and the holidays are a reminder of that fact.
Love your most perfect position! Too long of shots on crowd, plus you don't have their permission to be photographed. Shorter shots been safer for the future. Focus closer to those in the parade, especially the bands.
I swore off broadcast tv when the Police came up and they were about to perform and they cut to a commercial, coming back when the police had gone. Why have idiots I've never heard of, and ignore the police? That was just wrong. Great job. Really enjoyed it for the first time in years. Just don't ever hire any "I-can't-stop-talking" hosts. Ugh.
Whoever did this video I would have liked them to get up close on the parade more and NOT on the people in the stands ! It isn't as good as when you watch it with the 2 people talking about the parade and I would have liked more closer shots of each balloon too

The televised Macy Day Thanksgivings parade sucks. It turned into variety acts. They shoulds show more floats and balloons and marching bands. Who wants to see boring singers and boring dance act. Garbage.
That woman who kept saying PLEASE JOIN THE PARADE was so ANNOYING I had to shut off the sound so I wouldn't have to HEAR that over and over and over again I mean what was the point of saying that ??? Also WHY did they always have someone driving in the GOLF CARTS after every float for??? Was it if someone got sick or something and couldn't finish the walk?
