    Great video thanks brother. I have the power Probe three. I like the screen on it and it's helped me out a lot. I like that you can scroll through the functions on that one. The power Probe you don't scroll through anything it's just how you hook it up and what your doing. Read the instructions no matter what one you have so you don't damage anything. Great review of the tool. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother

    It probably works like the Autel meter in AC mode. It will read DC fine in that mode and actually works kind of like an oscilloscope. It’ll actually show pulse width and square waves. You could see a cam or crank sensor signal with it.

      John Pilgrim yes indeed you are correct it does do that. Thanks for mentioning that 👍🏻

    Great review Tony. Good alternative to the power probe for someone who would only use a few times a year and didn’t want to fork out the money!

    Ancel makes some pretty nice and decent cost tools. I like the smaller pocket battery testers they make. Nice review Tony👍

    My power probe is really old it's one of the original ones. How has this Ancel held up for you? I don't feel like spending the money on a new power probe since I hardly use it

    Which power probe model did you have?

  • @ridingwiththereids
    @ridingwiththereids 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I'd say the only thing it's missing is some sort of circuit breaker. Other than that it looks like a nice cheap "power probe" 👍👌

      Riding With The Reid's it actually does have an 8 amp auto reset circuit breaker. They are very well made. 👍🏻

    if your going to copy a product at least get it right , amazon price not much different, i have a power probe 2 and a couple power probe 3s , looks a cheap copy of the 3 , just my opinion , no circuit breaker is a fail. if your comparing to the old old power probe its a a upgrade but not the newer ones. but with that being said i still thank you for the video

      snowman 1 it does actually have circuit breaker protection. It is an 8 amp auto reset. It is actually surprisingly well built and include all the same safety features.

    Cool tool video👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 it is 99.007% cheep copy of a power prob BUT it dose not have a Circuit breaker on the side like the Power Prob’ has.. past that it is the same.. I think the Power Prob’ that is has copied cost around $80 to $150 and you would be getting the real one not the copy. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 just saying.😁.. But if you know!! Looks as if PowerProb’ has teamed up with Snap On sooooooooo there goes the cost up up up and away!! 😡😡😡😡
